Sexyy Red featured on the Say Cheese interview where she revealed she’s from St. Louis, being a gangster who commands everybody’s respect. 

During the interview, Sexyy Red said, “That’s what I’m saying. Everything and I’m faking but that’s really me. I’m really just a product of my environment, right? If they was, if they come to St. Louis then they get okay, I get why she dressed like that.” 

Sexyy Red came under a spotlight recently when she wondered why Twitter streets were misinterpreting her relationship with NLE Choppa. Sexyy Red clarified that NLE Choppa was only dog walking her and Sukihana.  She said, “Y’all lame and wrong for that. He didn’t do nothing wrong. They so lame. I ain’t understand. But he really didn’t do nothing wrong. He was just doing what I told him.”

A lot of things have changed about Sexyy since Nicki Minaj co-signed her and Tay Keith. Sexyy Red took to her IG to appreciate Nicki Minaj after she used her influence to boost her hit track. She wrote, “@nickiminaj I preciate you so much for blessin my track this is major I’m so humble and grateful.” 

Nicki Minaj continues signing upcoming and talented singer. Before signing Ice Spice, Nicki has signed individuals like City Girls, Akbar V, among other.
