Moneybagg Yo’s story when he featured on the Complex interview and explained how he slept on the floor when he was working on his album was touching.

Moneybagg Yo said, “Yeah, we were sleeping on the floor in the Mill Creek Apartment. we were doing what we had to do to get forty dollars, hundred dollars. Here in the industry like in the streets. It was up and down and we were just taking the money and going to one sound Studios and recording. Um really basically that’s it. I just took everything I had and did make that happen.” 

When the host asked to clarify what Moneybagg meant by saying slept on the floor, he replied, “No mattress like pallets of covers like. Oh that period last for, it was when I was making the Federal. I said it lasted for probably six months..” 

The rapper also detailed how he won back Ari Fletcher after cheating. He said, “I’ve made mistakes. I’ve made poor decisions. And that’s why I rock with her so tough, like – she’s helping me through the situation. I look at it like I was just being a n-gga and a n-gga that come from Memphis and my environment. That’s what I was used to. I had never been in no real relationship before. I had never been in no real relationship to where I’m talking to her all night, I’m checking in.”
