A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Postpones The Release Of His Album, Shying Off Competition With Drake And 21 Savage

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie revealed on Monday (October 31) that he will be delaying the release of his album until December in order to avoid competing with Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss for sales supremacy on the charts.

On his Instagram Story, he stated, “Sorry but Album dropping in December now, Drake was dropping same day and I’m not with that #HOODIESZN.

The Me vs. Myself album by the Bronx rapper will now be available on December 9. It has previously released tracks including “24 Hours” with Lil Durk and “B.R.O.” with Roddy Ricch.

The Drake invasion seemed to come out of nowhere as he and 21 Savage abruptly announced that their joint project Her Loss will be postponed from October 28 to November 4 due to producer Noah “40” Shebib of 6 God contracting COVID-19 last week.

The most recent issue of Vogue, which reached magazine stands on Monday, also featured Drizzy and 21. (October 31).

On Sunday, The 6 God posted on his Instagram to reveal the Vogue cover (October 30).

“Me and my brother on newsstands tomorrow,” he wrote. “Thanks, @voguemagazine and Anna Wintour for the love and support on this historic moment Her Loss Nov 4th.”
