Former Death Row Artist CPO Boss Hogg Dies At Age 52

CPO boss Hogg, whose real name Vince Edwards has died tragically. It’s a terrible day for many, including fans of his music.

The death of the former Death Row Records artist has been confirmed by rapper E-A-Ski and journalist Chad Kiser. It is not yet known how the Crompton, California artist died. At the time of his death, he was 52 years old.

According to his official Instagram account, he indicated that he was facing health issues. It was also reported that CPO survived congestive heart failure in 2010.

CPO was introduced to the rap scene in the 1990s by NWA’s MC Ren as the lead rapper of the group CPO. In addition to himself, CPO also included DJ Clarence “D.J Train” Lars and producer Daron “Young D” Sapp.

After originally appearing as Lil Nation in the group, the rapper went solo and took on the name CPO Boss Hogg. As a solo artist, he signed with Death Row and appeared on the Above The Rim and Murder Was the Case soundtracks.
