House Party’s Stars Says Kid Cudi is “Incredible” in New Reboot

Kid Cudi’s House Party co-stars have praised the rapper for his spotless comedic timing in addition to how seriously he took on his most recent role.

The new film’s stars, Jacob Latimore and Tosin Cole, had nothing but positive things to say about the Cleveland rapper, who plays himself in the remake of the 1990s classic, when they spoke with HipHopDX. Both actors agreed that Kid Cudi seemed a little unsure of himself as he started filming for the comedy, despite having had prior acting experiences.

“CudiKanye West Keeps Criticizing Adidas, Kid Cudi and Pete Davidson On Instagram was incredible,” said Jacob Latimore. ” We made him feel more comfortable too. It was a little nerve racking for him, but when you get those laughs after your lines you start feeling good about what you’re doing. Literally the first time we started filming we were just dying laughing.”

“He was so much fun to work with,” Tosin Cole added. “He took it so serious but he was fun to work with. He made great choices, his comic timing was impeccable. I don’t think people have seen him in this light. There was time he was doing his takes and I’d be like ‘That boy good.”

According to the plot summary for the new House Party, Latimore and Cole portray the roles of Kevin and Damon, two wannabe club promoters who are trying to find out how to make a big money to escape the repercussions of losing their jobs as house cleaners.

The imaginary home of LeBron James is the location of the best friends’ last cleaning job, so they plan to have an unlawful party there. As they attempt to execute their plan. Among the difficulties Damon and Kevin must overcome are a time-traveling DJ, a stolen championship ring, and an unruly guest list.

In addition to Cudi and LeBron, a number of other well-known figures, such as Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Tinashe, and the lead actors of Kid-N-Play, the first movie.

In 2010, Kid Cudi scored his first significant acting job as a primary cast member on the HBO series How To Make It In America. In 2014’s Need For Speed, Cudi makes his feature picture debut after making appearances in a few small movies. He has appeared in 35 scripted productions overall, not counting eight self-directed cameos.

The Cleveland artist most recently voiced the lead character, Jabari, in his own Netflix animated series Entergalactic. Together with Kenya Barris, the show’s creator and creator of Black-ish, he co-executive produced it.
