Snoop Dogg Reveals Why Death Row Catalog and Dr. Dre’s ‘The Chronic,’ Was Removed From DSPs

Snoop Dogg joined DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. on a recent edition of Drink Champs to talk about a variety of issues. Among them, the new owner of Death Row Records explained why he removed certain Death Row titles from digital streaming services. A decision that angered fans of the legendary West Coast rap company.

“First thing I did was snatch all the music off those platforms traditionally known to people, because those platforms don’t pay,” he stated. “And those platforms get millions of millions of streams, and nobody gets paid other than the record labels. So what I wanted to do is snatch my music off, create a platform similar to Amazon, Netflix, Hulu. It’ll be a Death Row app, and the music, in the meantime, will live in the metaverse.”

Snoop Dogg on His Mother’s Death

The rapper also mentioned his mother Beverly Tate, who died in October 2021. Snoop went on stage at Big Night Live in Boston only hours after revealing the news.

Instead of canceling the show, he addressed the audience. He said, “I wasn’t even gonna come out here and perform tonight ’cause my mother passed away earlier tonight, but in the spirit of the people of Boston, I wanted to come out here and represent for y’all because this is what my mama would have wanted me to do.”

Pusha T Teases Dr. Dre About Collaboration and Exposes Failed NAS Feature.

Pusha T conducted a listening session for his new album It’s Almost Dry in New York City on Tuesday night (April 12). The G.O.O.D. Music president performed the entire album in front of music industry figures, media professionals, and some of his rap contemporaries.

While Kanye West and Pharrell share production duties on the 12-track album, which is led by the hits “Diet Coke” and “Neck & Wrist,” King Push is seeking to collaborate with another iconic producer in the near future.

On Tuesday night, the Virginia Beach native teased a possible collaboration in the caption of an Instagram photo of him hanging out with Dr. Dre at his album premiere party.

Pusha T Teases Dr. Dre

Pusha T has a long list of rap legends on his wish list, and Dr. Dre isn’t the only one. Pyrex P revealed during his It’s Almost Dry event on Tuesday night that he tried unsuccessfully to get Nas to feature on “Hear Me Clearly,” his Vince Carter-inspired contribution to Nigo’s I Know NIGO! album.

Pusha T is yet to collaborate with Dr. Dre or Nas in his illustrious 20-year career, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t met the rap legends.

Pusha T released his remix of Drake and Meek Mill’s “R.I.C.O.” on Dre’s Beats 1 Radio show The Pharmacy in 2015. The same year, The Doctor and his N.W.A collaborators Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella, ranked Pusha T among their favorite current rappers.

2 Chainz expresses studio experience with Dr. Dre on Drink Champs

2 Chainz Explains Studio Session With Dr. Dre on “Drink Champs”

2 Chainz explains studio session with Dr. Dre on “Drink Champs.”

The rapper explained his encounter with Dr. Dre during studio session when he featured on “Drink Champs,” DJ  EFN and N.O.R.E’s podcast. The rapper talked about his journey and experiences he had with Dr. Dre

Some of the topics he talked about include his latest album, “Dope Don’t Sell Itself.” Also, he talked about his collab with Lil Wanye and why he parted ways with Ludacris’s label DTP (Disturbing Tha Peace) and more.

He spoke about one of his encounters with Dr. Dre in a studio session where he told Dr. Dre he wasn’t Eminem.

“I went to Dre’s crib,” Chainz said.

“He sat right here, and I was rapping right here and it was little funny cause I was getting little frustrated because, I don’t know, I’m country, or whatever…I’m from Atlanta. At this time I told him, ‘Look, I’m not like a white boy from Detroit. I ain’t f**king have like… Because he was stopping me like ‘Nah, change it.’ I’m trying to rap but he is a perfectionist. It’s the reason he is f**king who he is so I got that.”

Speaking further, he said,  “I’m somebody that can probably do… I can do two or three songs in one night. But with him [Dr. Dre] it would probably take months to do that because of the process of just getting one verse down and making sure you enunciate things and make sure it’s clear. I’ve been on there a few times, and I learned a lot from him. He’s just a perfectionist on how he does things. I think my accent and my enunciation was a problem. He was trying to tell me how to do it. And I told him ‘You know I’m from Atlanta right? I’m not gonna sound like the bro you have been working with’.”

CripMac ROASTS Adam22 — Says Adam’s Wife Called HIM Instead During A Fight! Introduction A chaotic and hilarious podcast moment is spreading rapidly across social media after Crip Mac delivered a brutal roast aimed at Adam22. During the conversation, cripmac jokingly claimed that when a tense situation started outside, Adam’s wife didn’t call Adam — she called him instead. The comment instantly turned the interview into a comedic roast session that left viewers laughing and shocked at the same time. What began as a casual story quickly evolved into a series of jokes about Adam22’s fighting ability, his recent boxing loss, and the awkward dynamics between everyone involved. Clips from the interview are now circulating across social media, with fans replaying the funniest moments and debating whether the roast was playful humor or a little too brutal. This article breaks down what happened, why the clip went viral, and how moments like this continue to dominate internet culture. The Setup: An Unexpected Phone Call Story The conversation began with cripmac describing a situation where tension reportedly started outside. According to his story, the moment became awkward when he claimed that Adam’s wife reached out to him instead of calling Adam. This comment immediately confused Adam and caught viewers’ attention. For many listeners, the idea itself sounded surprising — and it quickly became the foundation for the roast that followed. The moment felt spontaneous, which made it even more entertaining for audiences watching the interview. When the Roast Started Once the story was introduced, cripmac began joking about how the situation made Adam look unprepared to handle a confrontation. Instead of backing off, he leaned into the humor and continued teasing Adam throughout the conversation. The roast included comments about: Adam’s boxing loss His ability to handle a fight The awkward phone-call story Each joke added another layer of comedy to the conversation. The Viral Moment The clip that gained the most attention featured cripmac delivering one of his sharpest lines about Adam’s fighting ability. During this segment, he suggested that Adam wouldn’t have been able to handle the situation outside, referencing the recent boxing match Adam participated in. Because the line connected two different stories — the fight and the phone call — it instantly became the most replayed moment of the interview. Fans quickly began sharing that section across social media platforms. Why the Clip Spread So Fast Several factors helped the clip become viral content. First, cripmac is known for his loud personality and unpredictable humor. His delivery style often creates memorable moments in interviews. Second, the topic involved well-known internet personalities, which naturally attracts attention. Third, the roast itself felt spontaneous rather than scripted, making it entertaining to watch. When all these elements combine, viral moments are almost guaranteed. Social Media Reaction As clips from the interview spread online, viewers quickly started sharing their opinions. Fans who loved the moment said: The roast was hilarious CripMac’s delivery was perfect The conversation felt authentic and funny Others said: The jokes might have gone too far Adam handled the situation calmly Roasting friends publicly can create awkward moments Even with mixed reactions, the humor kept the clip trending. The Boxing Match Reference Another reason the roast gained traction was the connection to Adam’s boxing match with Jason Luv. During the interview, cripmac referenced that fight multiple times while joking about Adam’s ability to handle confrontations. Because many viewers already knew about the fight, the jokes felt even more relevant and relatable. This connection helped the clip resonate with a larger audience. The Chaotic Comedy Moment Later in the conversation, another unexpected moment added to the viral nature of the clip. Adam made a strange comment about homeless women, which immediately triggered a shocked reaction from cripmac. The awkward pause that followed created a second wave of viral clips from the interview. Moments like this often gain traction because they feel raw and unpredictable. Why Internet Roasts Go Viral Roasting has always been part of internet culture. Audiences enjoy seeing public figures tease each other because it creates entertaining and unscripted moments. These roasts often go viral because: The humor feels authentic The reactions are unpredictable The personalities involved are well known The interview involving cripmac contained all three of these elements. Podcast Culture and Viral Clips Podcasts have become one of the biggest sources of viral content online. Long conversations allow guests to speak freely, which can lead to unexpected and entertaining moments. Once a short clip is taken from a longer episode, it can spread rapidly across platforms. The moment featuring cripmac and Adam22 followed this exact pattern. Fans Debate Whether It Was Serious Although most viewers treated the moment as comedy, some wondered whether the jokes contained real tension. This question often appears whenever strong personalities interact on podcasts. Possible interpretations included: Pure comedy between friends Friendly teasing Subtle criticism disguised as jokes Because the conversation never fully clarified the tone, fans continued debating it online. Why the Keyword “cripmac” Is Trending The keyword cripmac began trending shortly after the interview clips appeared online. Fans searched for the original podcast episode and shared the funniest moments across social media. Reaction channels and meme pages also reposted the clip, adding captions and commentary that helped extend the discussion. Whenever an internet personality delivers an unforgettable roast, the attention spreads quickly. The Appeal of Unfiltered Conversations One reason audiences enjoy interviews like this is the lack of filtering. Guests often speak openly without worrying about sounding politically correct. This honesty can lead to hilarious or shocking moments that scripted content rarely produces. In this case, cripmac’s unfiltered humor became the highlight of the episode. The Power of Unexpected Humor Unexpected humor tends to perform extremely well online. When viewers don’t anticipate a joke or reaction, it often becomes more memorable. The phone-call story and boxing jokes combined to create exactly that type of moment. This unpredictability is why clips from the interview continued spreading across multiple platforms. What Happens Next As with many viral clips, the attention surrounding this moment may fade over time as new topics appear online. However, interviews involving strong personalities like cripmac often produce multiple viral moments, so fans will likely continue watching future episodes for similar surprises. Bottom Line The chaotic podcast moment featuring cripmac roasting Adam22 quickly became a viral sensation online. From the surprising phone-call story to the jokes about Adam’s boxing match, the conversation delivered exactly the kind of unpredictable humor that audiences love. Whether viewers saw the moment as friendly teasing or a brutal roast, one thing is certain — when personalities like cripmac start joking on a podcast, the internet pays attention.
