Eric Holder Jr. has received 60 years to life in prison for the murder of Nipsey Hussle. The court found Holder guilty of first-degree murder of the Grammy-nominated artist in 2019. Nipsey Hussle died at age 33. 

Holder is guilty of murder and attempted manslaughter of the two bystanders that were shot and injured during the incident. Eric Holder didn’t make any noticeable reaction when the judge read his sentence out. 

According to Holder’s attorney, Aaron Jansen, Eric will be appealing the verdict. 

Aaron Jansen said, “It was always going to be tough given the high-profile circumstances surrounding the case.” 

According to the prosecutors, Holder’s attack on Hussle was premeditated while Eric’s attorney claimed it was heat of the moment. According to Jansen, Hussle provocated Eric during a conversation where Eric Holder accused Hussle of working with the police. 

The report of Hussle’s death revealed that he was shot at least 10 times and Holder kicked him in the head and fled the scene. 

While he was a teenager, Hussle was a member of Rollin’ 60s street gang.
