During the interview, Lil Durk said, “Yea, still it’s just just that type of situation and I’m saying scary for a female. I’m saying for one she stood tall. Then at the end of the day, they wanted, she’s a gangster.” 

The rapper recently revealed turning to therapy. He lost his close friends and loved ones and decided to seek therapy. 

Speaking about the matter, Lil Durk said, “On a microphone, I’m just having fun, rapping about whatever I’m going through. In therapy, I’m going into the details of why, or when, or how.”

Durk said, “We were in the studio with Dr. Luke, and that was the first song he pulled up. I sat on it for a week, wondering who could fit it because the song felt big. Then we thought about J. Cole, reached out and he knocked it right out.”

Lil Durk also explains his inactivity on social media. He said “[I’m speaking on] what I’ve been dealing with, reasons I’ve been off the internet, reasons I haven’t been myself lately,” he says quietly. “I’m trying to fix it with family, and with friends.”
