Don’t forget the rapper had earlier said she’s bidding dating goodbye during an interview. As the interview processed, the host asked her how she’s balancing her career with dating and Kali said, “I am staying away from the dating. Yea, I’m trying to focus on you know area code is going up so bad. So I’m just focusing on making that you know riding that way right now.” 

He said she’s quitting dating as a result of her experience with her ex. She talked about buying an PlayStation for her ex for her to discover he was cheating on her. 

Kali said she retrieved the PlayStation, matched on it, and now wants to focus on her career. Charlemagne then asked her about Area Code of it was true she didn’t know Ludacris already sang about it. 

Kali replied, “Yea, I did, I didn’t know actually. And when I found out is when I was shooting the video to it. Like um my team was like you know do you wanna do you wanna um go with the Ludacris Bob. And I was like what are you talking about like and then they showed me and… I had no clue.”
