Lizzo Responds Assertively to Former Dancers’ ‘Sensationalized’ Lawsuit

Lizzo firmly denies allegations made by three ex-dancers who worked on her Special Tour, involving sexual harassment, fat-shaming, and a hostile working environment. Addressing the claims, Lizzo stated on Instagram that she does not condone inappropriate behavior and emphasizes the importance of respecting women. She also clarified that she would never criticize or terminate anyone based on their weight.

Lizzo’s legal representation in this case is powerful Hollywood lawyer Marty Singer, known for representing prominent figures like Chris Brown and Bill Cosby.

The former dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, alleged that Lizzo pressured them into engaging with sexual performers during the tour in Amsterdam and Paris. One particular location, Bananen Bar in Amsterdam, was known for explicit acts with customers involving bananas.

Crystal Williams and Arianna Davis joined Lizzo’s team after competing on her Watch Out for the Big Grrrls Amazon Prime series but claim they were fired in the spring.

Interestingly, during Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, she performed “Break My Soul (Queen’s Mix)” without mentioning Lizzo’s name, despite her usual shoutouts to fellow artists. Instead, Beyoncé repeatedly referenced Erykah Badu.

In conclusion, Lizzo vehemently denies the allegations and emphasizes her commitment to promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.
