Takeoff’s Comment About Death Just One Week Before He Was Shot And Killed

Rapper Takeoff of the hip-hop trio Migos made an odd comment regarding his life and death just one week before he was shot and died in Houston, Texas.

Takeoff, 28, remarked that he wished to receive his “flowers” while he was still “here” to receive them.

He remarked while performing on the Drink Champs podcast with Quavo, another rapper from the Migos when co-host N.O.R.E. mentioned how Takeoff was “really shining” on his most recent album.

Under the name Unc & Phew, the group published the album Only Built For Infinity Links less than a month ago.

“It was your time to prove. Is something you had on your mind when you [were] going to do that?” N.O.R.E asked Takeoff.

“For sure. I’m chill, I’m-laid back, but it’s time to pop it. I want to get into my flow—time to give me my flowers. I don’t want them when I ain’t here,” he replied.

Symbolic flowers were presented to Takeoff after the podcast episode (below) ended.

Takeoff, whose true name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, rose to stardom with his uncle Quavo and the first cousin once removed Offset as a member of the hip-hop group Migos.

Yung Rich Nation was the first of the group’s four studio albums, which were all released in 2015. They would release Culture as a follow-up, which peaked at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum.

Armed Man In Crowd In New Video Of Takeoff’s Death, Police Claims He Is A Person Of Interest In A Fatal Shooting

TMZ has learnt that a person of interest in the rapper’s killing is an armed man who was standing only a few feet away from Takeoff and Quavo when the fatal shots were fired.

In this footage, which provides a fresh perspective on the moments just before shots were fired, a man wearing all-black is seen carrying a black backpack and having a weapon tucked away in his right hip pocket.

As Quavo was involved in the argument that went before the shooting, you can clearly see the gun in the man’s pocket; he is holding it.

In The video, two seconds before the opening shot is fired, Quavo, wearing the bright orange shirt, approaches the man from behind.

Although there is no evidence in the video to suggest the man fired the opening shot, around 5 seconds later he can be seen lifting his pistol and appearing to fire. It’s unclear how far away Takeoff or Quavo were from him at that point.

Houston Police Department claims to have seen this video and has identified the individual as a person of interest. He hasn’t been identified yet.

Quavo & Takeoff Get "Messy" For Halloween

Quavo & Takeoff Get “Messy” For Halloween

Quavo and Takeoff embark on a vacation with a horror theme in the brand-new music video for “Messy” from their joint album Only Built For Infinity Links.

On Monday, October 31, the group released the Quavo and Daps-directed music video just in time for Halloween. The image shows Quay and Take dozing off in a car before they both abruptly awake, perplexed by their dreams.

The film moves on to a house where the Atlanta, Georgia natives experience some unsettling moments as they explore different rooms and come upon a number of peculiarities.

When the album originally came out, “Messy” generated a lot of discussions because some assumed Quavo was talking about his split from Saweetie and there were allegations that she might have had an affair with someone in his group.

I said ‘Caresha, please’ ’cause she too messy / Bitch fucked my dawg behind my back but I ain’t stressin’ / You wanted the gang? You shoulda just said it, we would’ve just blessed it / Now shit got messy,” Huncho rapped on the song “Messy.”

Although Quavo did not specifically identify anyone, many listeners assumed he was alluding to Offset, his cousin and rhyme partner, having an extramarital affair with Saweetie. They suggested this was the cause of the Migos’ abrupt breakup earlier this year.

Others thought Quavo was referring to Lil Baby, an Atlanta rapper who was allegedly involved with Saweetie last year.

Quavo And Takeoff Have Released The Album “Only Built For Infinity Links”

Quavo and Takeoff have finally released their new joint album “Only Built For Infinity Links” after a string of singles like “Hotel Lobby,” “Us vs. Them” with Gucci Mane, and “Big Stunna” with Birdman.

NBA Youngboy appears on “Too The Bone,” Young Thug and Gunna appear on “Chocolate,” Summer Walker appears on “Mixy,” and Mustard appears on “See Bout It” on the new project which comes with 18 tracks.

“We’re bouncing off each other,” Takeoff said about music with Quavo in a recent interview with Elliott Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller for Rap Radar. “The chemistry, it’s been there since day one, so we easily bounce off [one another].”

“The chemistry is the same, the recording is the same. We always normally record by ourselves because we’re so crazy on just dropping new sh*t on each other,” said Quavo. “So when he goes off and record by himself, I can’t wait til he come back and just bring some sh*t in. Make sure he leaves the open verse.”

In the recent interview, Quavo revealed why the Migos are not making music together. “We stand on real deal loyalty, and sometimes that sh*t ain’t displayed,” he said. “This ain’t got nothing to do with no label, no paperwork, no QC, nothing. This got something to do with the three brothers. And sh*t, it is what it is. Right now, we gon’ be the duo ’til time tell.”

QUAVO TALKS ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE MIGOS

QUAVO TALKS ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE MIGOS

In a recent interview with GQ, Quavo discussed the future of the Migos, telling the publication that each member must make a name for themselves as unique individuals in order for the group to remain as strong as possible. The remarks coincide with current speculations that the three rappers are splitting up.

“It was all about Migos, Migos, Migos. The three of us,” he stated regarding the first decade of the group’s career. “I feel like every group member has to establish themselves. Their own body of work. If not, you start losing members.”

Using a football metaphor, he continued by saying that he has spent his career coming up with plays for the team but that he needs to start concentrating on moves for himself.

“I’m a quarterback in life,” he said. “But now that I want it, I’m just going to show you.”

Quavo mentions that he’d want to work with Chloe x Halle and that he also wants to develop his career as a director.

“I would love to do a video for other people if y’all want my vision,” he explained to outlet.

After Offset unfollowed the other two members of the group on Instagram and the Migos cancelled their scheduled performance at the Governors Ball in New York City earlier this year, there were rumors that the group was splitting up.

Offset And Takeoff Were Seen Together At Rich The Kid’s 30th Birthday Party

The Migos don’t appear to be disbanding after all. The two most recently got together this week at Rich The Kid’s 30th birthday celebration. The two group members could be seen on a video hanging around in the same area of the club. After the release of Takeoff and Quavo’s collaborative project as Unc & Phew, this is among the first times in months that we’ve seen the rapper with either one of his Migos teammates.

The release of “Hotel Lobby” single earlier this year sparked rumors that the Migos had broken up. Offset and Cardi B were shortly found to be followers of both Takeoff and Quavo, which stoked speculation that the Atlanta trio was breaking up. A representative said that conflicting schedules prevented Takeoff, Quavo, and Offset from reuniting on stage for the cancelled performance at Governor’s Ball in New York City.

The release of the Takeoff and Offset music video coincided with the publication of a new Quavo interview in GQ, in which he discussed the band’s potential future. Unc & Phew will be releasing a full-length project, he said while also revealing that each member must make a name for themselves as a solo performer.

“It was all about Migos, Migos, Migos. The three of us,” he stated. “I feel like every group member has to establish themselves. Their own body of work. If not, you start losing members.”

Barber Kicks Customer Out Of His Chair After Quavo Walked In For A Haircut

Quavo would undoubtedly be a valuable addition to any barbershop. The rapper is a member of the hugely popular Migos group. He plays hoops with Drake and hangs out with John Travolta.

A barber demonstrated how far he would go to gain Quavo’s business. When Quavo entered the institution, the barber kicked his customer out of his chair mid-cut, according to a video released to TikTok.

“You gotta go, man. You gotta go,” When Quavo walked in, the barber informed his client. The customer took it in stride, laughing as he got up. The text in the video posed the question, “What would you do if QUAVO Huncho walked into your barbershop?” This barber would apparently fire his existing client. The text on the video read: “Get yo ass up Lance, n do that dance.”

Recently, Quavo has made a lot of movements. When Offset unfollowed Takeoff and Quavo on Twitter, it sparked suspicions that the Migos were parting up. Any inquiries regarding the trio’s possible demise were deflected by Quavo. In the meantime, he and Takeoff appear to be becoming closer. The two collaborated on the hit tune “Hotel Lobby.” The two then recreated a childhood shot, which Quavo then posted with his 21 million Instagram followers. He wrote in the caption, “When I Say Twin Yea That Be My Brotha We Got The Same Rollie He Matching Me Nah Fr!”

Lil Wayne Will Take The Place Of Migos For The 2022 Governors Ball

The Migos have been dropped off the Governors Ball 2022 roster, and Lil Wayne will take their place, the event revealed on social media on Tuesday. The swap was done mere days before the festival’s debut date.

“Due to circumstances out of our control Migos are no longer performing at Gov Ball,” before adding in another post, a tweet from the festival’s account wrote, “@LilTunechi will be playing the GOVBALLNYC Stage on Friday, June 10th at 6:30pm!”

While the event did not provide an explanation for the Migos’ absence, some speculated that it was a sign that the famed Atlanta group was parting up.

“Gov ball just confirmed the migos break up fml,” a fan replied.

After Quavo and Takeoff released the tune “Hotel Lobby” together without Offset, rumors of a breakup among the three rappers have been spreading for weeks. DJ Akademiks recently stated that he has spoken with Offset. But he does not expect the feud to get to the point of a total breakup.

Ak informed TMZ in May that he “actually spoke to Offset just the other day, and while there might be some tense feelings, he doesn’t think any ‘beef’ will escalate to a full-scale split.”

Wayne will now play on Friday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. From June 10 to 12, the festival will take place. Kid Cudi, Halsey, and J. Cole will be among the event’s headliners.

Quavo And Takeoff Recreate A Childhood Photo

Quavo And Takeoff Recreate A Childhood Photo

Quavo and Takeoff got together to replicate a flashback photo. However, fans are now wondering if Offset is a member of the gang.

Only a few weeks ago, fans were wondering if Migos, the popular rap group, had lost a member. Supporters concluded that Offset’s professional connection was over when social media detectives saw that he unfollowed his group colleagues Quavo and Takeoff.

Another factor in their decision was the fact that the two musicians collaborated on a song called “Hotel Lobby,” but Offset, whose true name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was not included.

Quavo, real name Quavious Keyate Marshall, and Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, recreated a childhood photo of themselves today (May 28) and got social media buzzing all over again.

The two young relatives wore huge graphic tees, baseball caps, and jewelry in the vintage photo. Takeoff is wrapping his chain around his neck on the left, while Quavo stands alongside him and raises an upside-down ‘A,’ which is the Atlanta hand sign. The two rappers came onto a photography set and stood next to each other to recreate the image. They didn’t dress alike, but they did strike the identical stances.

Quavo Huncho shared it with his 21 million Instagram followers on his profile. The 31-year old wrote in a caption “When I Say Twin Yea That Be My Brotha We Got The Same Rollie He Matching Me Nah Fr!”
