Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” Debuts At No. 1, Shattering Numerous Records In The Process

Taylor Swift’s surprise album Midnights, which included 13 songs and a Lana Del Rey feature, received the majority of the attention in the music business.

Also, there were a lot of interesting new hip-hop releases over the past weekend from artists like NBA YoungBoy, Jeezy, and DJ Drama. 

The country-turned-pop crooner has a lengthy history in the business, so it’s not surprising that her albums do well financially. However, this week, the “Last Decembe ” hitmaker managed to earn the biggest week for an album in seven years, according to Billboard. She also managed to launch at No. 1.

According to reports, in the week of October 27, Swift’s album sold 1.578 million equivalent album sales in the United States. Adele’s album 25, which sold 3.482 million copies in December 2015, was the most recent work to accomplish an accomplishment of this nature.

The Pennsylvania native’s tenth studio album, Midnights, was just released, and three hours later, she released the 3am Edition, which included seven bonus tracks for her devoted fans.

While fans like the recording artist’s music on its own merits, at least some of the release’s excitement comes from a song called “Vigilante Shit,” in which she appears to downplay Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s contentious divorce.
