In a surprising move, rapper YSL Woody appeared before a group of law students to deliver a speech on his experience in the music industry and its intersection with legal challenges. His appearance comes at a time when the Young Stoner Life (YSL) collective, including Woody and its founder Young Thug, are entangled in a high-profile RICO case.

As you may know, the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act is designed to tackle organized crime by linking individuals to criminal activities carried out by a larger group. Prosecutors allege that YSL, originally a music label, also operated as a criminal gang. Woody, along with Young Thug and other members, has been named in the case. While Woody has not been one of the central figures in the trial like Young Thug, the charges have cast a shadow over his career.

Young Thug, as the face of YSL, is facing the heaviest charges, with prosecutors accusing him of being involved in various crimes through the collective. Woody’s association with Thug, combined with his own legal scrutiny, places him in a complicated position.

YSL Woody during an interview said he taking all fades if you call him anything but a gangster. Woody has been allegedly snitching on some rappers in these past few days.

Earlier, during the interrogation, YSL Woody allegedly revealed information about the YFN Lucci entire team. According to rumors, Woody has been coordinating with the Houston police for at least 11 years. 

According to Chidi, Atlanta reporter had earlier tweeted, “YFN Lucci’s trial was due to begin January 9, same as Young Thug’s. The YFN gang and RICO case is just as wide-ranging as the YSL case. The two are connected; Lucci is a witness. But Lucci’s trial date has been postponed, his attorney said Tuesday. No new court date has been set.” 

To make more clarifications, George Chidi further stated, ““And here we go. For clarification: Lucci is on the state’s witness list. That doesn’t mean he’s going to testify, but he could still be called. Don’t @ me with questions about snitching. I don’t care.”

Don’t forget that Lil Rod’s dad recently said that the District Attorney assured him freedom should he snitch on Thugger. He stated, “Ms. Willis went down to that jail and told my son if he—if! Listen to what I say. I ain’t tellin’ you what I heard, I’m tellin’ you what I know. ‘If he say Thug gave him $10,000 to [inaudible] that boy, then we’ll let you out of jail.’”
