California Rapper Indian Red Boy Was killed While On Instagram Live Stream
The music industry has seen a great loss. Another young life passed away too soon. According to various media and law enforcement agencies, rapper Indian Red Boy, 21 years old, was shot dead on Thursday, July 8, while in his car.
Currently there are several videos trending on the internet regarding the death. A video that shows he (Indian Red Boy) was talking to a friend on Instagram live at the time he was shot, while still in front of the camera.
According the report by Lt. Ti Goetz of the Hawthorne Police Department, authorities were called to 14100 block Chadron Avenue at about 4:10 pm. This was also confirmed by CBS Los Angeles. Los Angeles County firefighters added that the man who was shot and died at the scene of the crime. Goetz later revealed that the coroner’s office identified the deceased shooting victim as the rapper, whose real name was Zerail Dijon Rivera.
“It appears to have been a shooting at the entrance and appears to have been the target,” Goetz said before adding that “it appears to be a gang member.” Authorities are still searching for the suspect who pulled the trigger.
Video recordings are underway. CBS Los Angeles, filmed a video of River’s family at the scene and is understandably upset by the tragic experience.
On his IG page, many expressed condolences to the 21-year-old. From commenting on RIP under his photos to others posting his pictures on accounts, and even a series of love tweets which expresses their sadness.
The person Rivera was on IG Live with when he was shot and killed, whose IG username is kapaalxt8, which you can see if you watch the video yourself, also paid tribute to his friend. He posted a video and photo of Rivera on his profile too.
