Cardi B Wins $4M Law Claim Against Blogger
Cardi B won a $4 million law claim of character criticism against blogger Latasha “Tasha K” Kebe, the judge claimed that it was a series of repeated lies about the rapper.
Then Cardi B sought an order from the court against Tasha K to prohibit the case from being discussed outside the limitation set by the court, indicating that she would seek after additional lawful activity for what her group portrayed as Tasha’s “promises to keep harassing” her.
The decision sent shockwaves through the industry, not only because of the large sum given, but because of the precedent, it set for bloggers to be penalized for publishing misinformation.
From that point forward, two different artists have taken steps to go with the same pattern, in light of careless web-based media posts.
Toward the end of February, Teyana Taylor pointed at suing a TikToker who declared that the vocalist was engaging in drug abuse because of the challenges in her marriage. Also, before long, Megan Thee Stallion chastised DJ Akademiks for a deceptive report he made about her appearance in the court with Tory Lanez, she posted a warning on her Instagram Story, “Don’t get sued trying to create a hate campaign. Be a real journalist and post FACTS.”
