Long-awaited album Kanye West finally released

‘Donda’, the long-awaited new album by Kanye West (44), has been released after several delays. The album, named after the rapper’s late mother, was released on streaming services on Sunday afternoon.

Kanye’s tenth studio album contains a total of 27 songs. Rappers like Jay-Z, DaBaby and the late Pop Smoke collaborated on it. Marilyn Manson can also be heard on a song. Earlier this week, his cooperation already caused a stir because the American shock rocker is accused of sexual abuse by several women.

After three previous postponements, ‘Donda’ was supposed to be released last Friday, but that deadline was not met either. Kanye suggested earlier on Sunday that the delay was because DaBaby’s manager was not yet satisfied.

The rapper was supposed to release the album last year, but that was postponed. Kanye hosted a total of three listening sessions for his fans in major stadiums this month and last. The release of the album was always planned for the day after such an event.

‘Donda’ is the successor to the gospel album ‘Jesus Is King’ from 2019. That record was also released later than planned because the perfectionist rapper kept tinkering with it.

Never before has such a high number of listeners been reached. Singer Ariane Grande was the record holder for this with 82 million listeners per month.

The Canadian singer’s number of listeners towers over the numbers of other artists. For example, an average of 74.5 million listeners listen to The Weeknd every month and an average of 72.4 million listeners to Ed Sheeran.

PnB Rock, a Philadelphia-based rapper who is best known for his hit song “Selfie”, has pleaded guilty to charges of drug and firearm possession linked with a 2019 arrest in Bensalem, officials said Tuesday.

The defendant, Rakim Hasheem Allen (also known as PnB Rock), pleaded guilty to one count each of possession with intent and delivery, as well as one count of receiving stolen property. The sentences will run concurrently. His probation was allowed to be transferred to California, and he was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.

In January 2019, after Bensalem Township cops obtained a search warrant for Allen at an apartment on Konefal Street in Bensalem, he was detained. The writ of assistance was issued by Bensalem Township authorities in January 2019 as a result of an inquiry that began in November 2018 following a series of complaints about loud celebrations.

Jessie J Apologizes To Nicki Minaj After Misunderstanding ‘Bang Bang’ Story

Jessie J apologized to Nicki Minaj after sharing a seemingly bogus report about how Nicki appeared on her 2014 hit “Bang Bang”.

Last week, Nicki took exception to the fact that Jessie told Glamor magazine that the rapper requested to be on the track after hearing the lines from Jessie and Ariana Grande. Nicki said the record company actually asked her to perform the song.

“I’m sorry I got the story wrong all these years, I was told you heard the song and wanted to be on it by someone clearly gassing me up at the label. (Bless them and my naive a**), ”

Jessie wrote in an Instagram post over the weekend.

 

She also admitted that there was a “weird energy” between her and Nicki, and wondered if this could be due to a Jessie meme jokingly singing Nicki’s line in the song.

“If we can’t laugh in the lives we have been blessed with. What’s the point,” Jessie wrote. “It really isn’t that deep.”

Jessie also apologized to Ariana, saying she had no idea Ari wrote the song with Max Martin.

“I’m the first person to admit Bang Bang would NEVER have been what it was without you guys,” she said of Nicki and Ariana.

Jessie then joked that the three of them were going to have dinner together or record “Bang Bang Part Two”.

Singer R. Kelly wants the court to dismiss allegations that he deliberately exposed two people to a sexually transmitted disease.

Singer R. Kelly faces various sex trafficking in New York City and is on trial in Illinois and Minnesota for various independent crimes. Singer R. Kelly also allegedly had sexual contact with a minor in 2006.

According to court documents TMZ received, Kelly and her legal team are attempting to dismiss the sexually transmitted disease charge by claiming that herpes is not a recognized sexually transmitted disease. He also denies the allegations.

He also clarified that the singer should not be charged with breaking New York law when he was accused of transmitting the herpes virus to two prosecutors.

Singer R. Kelly added that lawmakers had not included herpes because it “is not an acute bacterial venereal disease.” His legal team also claimed that the virus did not fall under the umbrella of STIs because of the New York State Department of health over syphilis or gonorrhea and the definition of the World Health Organization.

It is not known if the judges will drop the charges against R. Kelly.

Kelly will begin the trial on August 18 and is expected to last four weeks. In addition to the herpes charges, he faces state sex trafficking in Chicago and statewide in Illinois and Minnesota.

Potential jurors will be asked if they can be open to the case.

When asked how he was feeling, R. Kelly’s lawyer Deveraux Cannick told AFP: “Just Another Monday”.

R. Kelly, one of the biggest R&B stars of the 1990s, has been in custody since July 2019.

The New York prosecutor’s office accuses the singer – real name Robert Kelly – of leading an entourage of bosses, bodyguards and others who recruited women and girls and prepared them for sex. Prosecutors say the victims were selected at concerts and other venues.

He is said to have isolated the victims from their family and friends and forced them to call him “daddy”.
