NEWS UPDATE: Rapper PnB Rock Just Got Convicted!
PnB Rock, a Philadelphia-based rapper who is best known for his hit song “Selfie”, has pleaded guilty to charges of drug and firearm possession linked with a 2019 arrest in Bensalem, officials said Tuesday.
The defendant, Rakim Hasheem Allen (also known as PnB Rock), pleaded guilty to one count each of possession with intent and delivery, as well as one count of receiving stolen property. The sentences will run concurrently. His probation was allowed to be transferred to California, and he was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
In January 2019, after Bensalem Township cops obtained a search warrant for Allen at an apartment on Konefal Street in Bensalem, he was detained. The writ of assistance was issued by Bensalem Township authorities in January 2019 as a result of an inquiry that began in November 2018 following a series of complaints about loud celebrations.
According to the police, during their search they discovered five pounds of marijuana, scales, and packaging material in the apartment. They also unearthed over $33,000 in cash. San Antonio Police Department found a Glock handgun in 40 caliber that was reported stolen during the raid.
In 2019, Stephanie Sibounheuang and Allen were both arrested. In 2019, he pleaded guilty to possessing a prohibited drug. He was sentenced to six months of probation. PnB Rock pled guilty to one count of possession with the intent to distribute and another charge of receiving stolen property. He has been sentenced to 36 months on each count and he has been ordered to perform 100 hours of community service. His sentences will be served at the same time.
