Asian Doll Retaliates After Designer Claims She Ghosted Her Over Custom Dress

Asian Doll has adressed claims that she ghosted a designer after asking about a custom dress for her 26th birthday celebration.

The whole issue began on Wednesday, December 7, when fashion designer Caila Abdul criticised rapper “Nunnadet Shit” for leaking pictures of their discussions from November 22 on Instagram.

The lengthy post includes images of the original gown Caila fashioned, in comparison to the dress Asian Doll had recreated, Along with prove of Asian Doll agreeing to the pricing for the bespoke design and flying the designer out for a fitting.

“This is so heartbreaking, Caila Abdul wrote in part in the lengthy IG post caption, “@asiandabrat had me spend hundreds of dollars to create her birthday dress just to ghost me a day before her birthday, not only that, she also sent my design to be recreated and copied by someone else in the last minute.”

On Friday, December 9 Asian Doll took her frustration to Twitter days after she began trending on social media following the fashion designer’s claims. However, she also have her side of the story, she slammed the troll who stated that she couldn’t afford to pay because she is broke.

“I’m so tired of explaning myself on the internet to bitches…I rather say believe whatever you want to believe idgaf,” Asian Doll tweeted, seemingly in direct response to the screenshot receipts Caila Abdul posted.

She continued, “Yesterday Iet y’all talk today ima tell all you bitches to ‘Suck My Dick’ one by one…let’s play.”

Asian Doll then focused her attention on Twitter user who attempted to shame her by saying she could not afford the dress in the first place, “Her dress was $1500 his dress was 2k bitch who couldn’t afford what? Your rent not even 2k bitch mind your business,” she tweeted.

The rapper and producer from Chicago ‘Kanye West’ has a growing list of issues as he currently being sued for $110,000 over unpaid photography bills.

Yeezy Inc. is being sued by a Brooklyn-based creative director ‘Katlyn Mooney’ after Kanye neglected to pay her for a last minute photo shoot in September.

Kanye West’s staff contacted Mooney and asked him to take pictures of his SHDZ designer sunglasses to use for marketing at New York Fashion Week, according to a lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Wednesday, December 7, and seen by AllHipHop.com.

The shoot was said to have taken place on September 13, 2022, and Mooney delivered the final digital files the following day, September 14.

According to the lawsuit, Kanye and Mooney affirmed that Mooney will be hired for a sum of One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000) by text after discussing the fundamental elements of their arrangements.

It added that “Miss Mooney was to be fully responsible for every aspect of the photo shoot, including but not limited to recruiting models, reserving studio space, procuring lighting, catering, pre-production, and post-production.”

“Yeezy had no issues with Miss Mooney’s work or the final delivered product,” the lawsuit claims. Two weeks after sending Kanye the final photos, Mooney submitted an invoice for $110,000 and her W9.

The lawsuit claims Kanye West has so far only paid Mooney $15,000 which has caused the mother of three to experience considerable financial hardships “due to Yeezy’s failure pay her back.”

Mooney’s lawyer Andrew Gerber added “that his client had to take out a significant loan and max out her credit cards just to cover her rent and other bills.”  

The photographer is seeking $110,250 in statutory damages.

During the discussion, Ice Cube disclosed that he declined invitation to compete in Verzuz contests again LL Cool J and Scarface.

“I think they where talking about LL at one point, they were also talking about Scarface at one point,” he said. “I said, No, Verzuz is good, but my concept would have been, ‘Yo, I’m a fan. You do this song for me.’ Like, okay, I get to have LL do my favorite LL songs and he gon’ have me do my favorite Ice Cube songs.”  “And it’s not Verzuz, but it’s love. It’s like, ‘Yo, do this, and he do ‘Rocks and Bells,’ and he ask me, ‘Yo, do Once upon a time in the projects, That would have been my concept.”

“He continued, “I can’t go against people I admire. LL is an OG to me in the game, so I can’t see it. Me and Scarface love eachother, but we don’t communicate enough to do a Verzuz together. I don’t want it to be a competition.”

Meta’s First Ever Immersive Art Experience Launched by Doja Cat and Glorilla

To help launch an immersive experience developed by Meta and LeBron James’ Spring Hill SpringHill firm at this year’s Art Basel, Doja Cat and Glorilla have been enlisted.

The celebrations started in Miami on Thursday, December 1, with Doja cat headlining the activation’s launch and artist preview. Elena Rose, a venezuelan-American vocalist, and Glorilla co-headlined the event on  Friday (December 2), with DJ/Producer TOKIMONSTA closing out the festivities on Saturday (December 3).

The option to experience virtual reality art in real locations will be available to guests throughout the course of those three days.

There will be an NFT Gallery with works at the meta House. A separate immersive experience at the Strada World Bungalow showcasing work by more established artists Including Laci  Laci Jordan and Morel Dourcet  and a pool house curated and decorated by artist Dapper Lou.

SpringHill also curated a separate exhibit called #MakeItTillYouMakeIt, which will not only allow attendees to enjoy selected projects by Meta House’s artists, but to also submit their own artworks which will be included in the exhibit.

The musician Drake will be listening to the most in 2022 has been revealed.

Drizzy used his Instagram stories to reveal that 2Pac was his most- played artist of the year on the streaming service when Spotify unveiled It’s 2022 wrapped feature on Wednesday(November 30)

The head of OVO sound was among the top 7% of ‘pac’s listeners in 2022, listening to him for a total of 246 minutes. When it comes to individual artists, Drake ranked third globally in terms of Spotify streams, behind Bad  Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift. He was the most streamed artist in the United States this year.

Drake honoured 2Pac in 2020 with a pair of Jesus pieces valued at $300,000 each. Both pendants were complemented by a diamond chain boasting 70 carats of flawless white and naturally yellow diamonds, along with over half a kilo of gold in total.

Designed by Jason of Beverly Hills, the pendant took approximately five weeks and 150 hours to make the beginning with an original concept brought by Drake to the company’s founder, Jason Arasheben.

Drizzy paid tribute to Makaveli by explaning how much he admired him not only for his music, but how he lived his life.

“If there was anybody that I wish I could be a little more like, it’d probably be pac,” he told The Boombox at the time. “I think more than anything aside from his music, which was absolutely incredible, I think he just drove people with who he was, the way he carried himself.”

He added: “He was somebody who was a free spirit and did not care, he just did what he felt. I wish I could have a little more Pac to my persona. I’m working on it.”

Asap Rocky believes he finally gets his roses when it comes to his aesthetics  because his music videos show he has a wonderful eye for art.

Lord Pretty Flacko confidently asserted that he believes he deserves credit for all the avant-garde music he has released throughout his career during an interview with complex that was published on Monday, December 5.

The rapper from Harlem asserts that videos are very crucial component of how listeners consume music. After the reporter stated that Rocky deserves more recognition for his work, he responded that he considered himself a visual artist and explained how he continued the legacy with his most recent music video “Shittin Me.”

“Man thank you for that, because I feel the same way,” Rocky said. “Tell them, give me my fucking flowers! I like roses, I like tulips, lilies, all that shit. I think that it goes without saying that I’m a visual artist. So a visual component to a song is so vital.

He added, “That’s my only way of expressing a song. I think that’s the last piece of execution when you’re making an actual song. From day one, I developed the reputation of being one of those visual artists, so this goes without saying that I had to kind of keep the tradition going with this one.”

The Asap Mob front man also revealed the creative process for “Shittin me” wasn’t a walk in the park. “The process was chaotic,” Flacko explained. “As you could tell, my aesthetic for videos now are more everything at once, just more chaotic, organized chaos. You noticed the aesthetics.

“I want to display that more because I graduated from giving you the cerebral, surreal, ghetto-fabulous lifestyle or giving them a look into a lifestyle they’ve never seen…. Now it’s more so about creating these worlds or scenarios in a more chaotic way because I think it is a nice way to display my ADHD.”

Nicki Minaj was in full party mode this week as she turned 40 on Thursday, December 8, but trolls were trying to to bully her with derogatory hashtags disrespectful hashtags.

According to AllHipHop, Nicki’s biggest deractors devised the plan to taunt her by posting hashtags #She’s 40 and #FatandForty at midnight. The trolls were eager to harass Nicki on Twitter by using ageism and body shaming.

“Not y’all got #FATANDFORTY# trending on that lady birthday…. early in the night!!! This is the most petty shit I’ve ever seen in my life..,” one user tweeted alongside a meme that included the words “I’m here for it.”

As expected, the Barbz came to their Queen’s rescue and defended her honor. “She’s 40 & looking better than your fav!!! Happy Birthday Nicki Minaj,” one user posted.

While Nicki has much to celebrate as she entered the 40 club, she’s also working on her forthcoming fifth album. In conversation with City Girls rapper JT for i-D, the captain of the Barbz army disclosed that her next album will go back to her roots as a hungry, underground MC on the rise. She also noted that she is in a great place now which allows for her creativity to shine.

“I feel like whenever I’m happy, I deliver the best music,” Nicki said before hinting at which is the perfect timing for her to release her new anthem.

“And in order for me to deliver the best music for my album, which is coming out soon…I have to tap back into the essence of Hip Hop.”

Her last solo project ‘Queen’ was 2018, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 185,000 album-equivalent units, of which 78,000 came from pure album sales.

Also during the interview, Nicki expressed that she wants to see her younger counterparts step up their rhyme game and released the “Queen Mix” which features Katie Got Bandz, Maliibu Mitch, BIA, and Akbar V.., to give women a high-profile platform to spit their best rhymes.

“I wanna hear girls rap again. Like, just rap. When I did my BET Cypher years ago, I purposely didn’t wear revealing clothes,” Nicki said. “I wore a sweatsuit. So even though we were being super freaky girls on the song, and we all had fun, Y’all really spit.”

Styles P has talked about the early 2000s  conflict between the LOX and Roc-A-Fella Records, when he intended to kill Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z.

The Ghost recently appeared on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion where he discussed how the Roc-A-Fella feud went too far and became Personal, despite the fact that his, Jadakiss and Sheek Louch’s beef with 50 Cent and G-Unit was maintained exclusively on wax.

“We didn’t go to war with 50, I would’ve shot Beans and HOV at that time, I wouldn’t have shot 50. There was no emotional ties into it,” he explained.

“Beans was like us from Philly. You already know what HOV, Dame and them were doing, so that was more personal for me. Kiss and HOV kept being on the same remixes and something happened. It just felt like they were aiming at Kiss for me. Kiss is our Derek Jeter. Where we from, you fuck with one of us, you fuck with everybody.”

The feud only escalated with tempers flaring in person at shows when D-block and State Property along with Jay would cross paths, although there wasn’t a specific incident that caused the beef’s genesis. They would eventually exchange a plethora of disses on wax over various songs, remixes and freestyles.

“With Beans and HOV it was more like I got love for them and this is our story when we came up,” SP continued. “At that time, I had two guns on me every day, not because of them but because of life.”

This isn’t the first time the LOX have recounted the Roc-A-fella feud. Sheek Louch echoed a similar sentiment in 2017 in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid.

“Beans and them were saying some shit lyrically because they were slick-taking,” he said. “Them Philly niggas they be saying some shit. So that’s where I’d be like ‘Oh shit, Style get the gun! Where the fuck them n-ggas record at? Like it was that kind of situation.

“Our beefs were so dope man, you knew it was gonna be some ‘Fuck that, fuck you this and that.’ Some ill shit. You name whoever we got it on with, it was like some dope entertainment…

These beefs right now is not the same, man. I think the media is more turning them into beefs. Our shit was legitimate beefs.”

Cooler heads eventually prevailed for all parties as they all went on to enjoy lucrative careers. Ironically, The LOX ended up signing a partnership deal with JAY-Z’s Roc Nation in 2016 to release their first album in 16 years.
