Meta’s First Ever Immersive Art Experience Launched by Doja Cat and Glorilla
To help launch an immersive experience developed by Meta and LeBron James’ Spring Hill SpringHill firm at this year’s Art Basel, Doja Cat and Glorilla have been enlisted.
The celebrations started in Miami on Thursday, December 1, with Doja cat headlining the activation’s launch and artist preview. Elena Rose, a venezuelan-American vocalist, and Glorilla co-headlined the event on Friday (December 2), with DJ/Producer TOKIMONSTA closing out the festivities on Saturday (December 3).
The option to experience virtual reality art in real locations will be available to guests throughout the course of those three days.
There will be an NFT Gallery with works at the meta House. A separate immersive experience at the Strada World Bungalow showcasing work by more established artists Including Laci Laci Jordan and Morel Dourcet and a pool house curated and decorated by artist Dapper Lou.
SpringHill also curated a separate exhibit called #MakeItTillYouMakeIt, which will not only allow attendees to enjoy selected projects by Meta House’s artists, but to also submit their own artworks which will be included in the exhibit.
