Daddy Yankee expressed that he is retiring from his illustrated hip-hop career which he began in the 1990s. In his career so far, the rapper has released 7 albums. His most recent album is “Prestige” which he released in 2012.
The Puerto Rican rapper announced that he will be retiring from the music career with the release of his forthcoming album, “Legendaddy”. Also, he will be having a retirement farewell tour called “La Última Vuelta World Tour”. He announced that the five-month tour will start on August 10th in Portland, Oregon.
“Today, I’m announcing my retirement from music by giving you my best production and my best concert tour,” Daddy Yankee said in a statement. “I will say goodbye celebrating these 32 years of experience with this new collector’s item, the album Legendaddy. I’m going to give you all the styles that have defined me, in one single album.”
