Doja Cat Paused Concert To Ensure Fan’s Safety
Doja Cat has risen to be famous in the last three years in the music industry. She was at different times nominated for the Grammy award and also nominated for Lollapalooza’s music festival expansion in South America this month. On the 19th of March, It was reported that she had to pause the concert to ensure that a fan is safe in the crowd.
She had to pause her set for about five minutes during a live show of “Options” from one of her albums “Planet”. In a video shared on social media, Doja Cat was seen in a video shared on social media of directing the traffic inside Hippodromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires, requesting that the sound be cut.
“Yo. Cut it!” she shouts during the performance around the 48:42 minute mark. “Wait, wait, wait, Wait, wait, wait Wait, wait, wait. Somebody needs help over there. Is that right? Am I right? Somebody needs help?”
She explained why has she need to stop the show, she prioritize the safety of her fans and wouldn’t want anything harmful to happen to them.
“You guys over there in that circle that just signaled to me, when everything’s OK, you just go like this,” Doja Cat said. “Just do that, OK? Just wave. If it’s not OK, then don’t do anything. But once it’s OK, just do something with your hands like this. I’m sorry, I can’t keep going if things aren’t good.”
