Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello were among the music giants who performed on Tuesday night. The essence of the concert was to collect donations for Ukrainian humanitarian appeal.

During his section, Sheeran remarked, “It’s such an important cause, I’m very honoured to be here.” He then took the stage with Cabello, who also sang a cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You.”
“We’re all praying for peace and safety for the people of Ukraine tonight,” Cabello stated.
A performance by teenage prodigy violinist Illia Bondarenko, who sang the Ukrainian folk song “Verbovaya Doschechka” alongside 94 violinists from around the world from a subterranean shelter in Kyiv, was a moving moment in the evening.
Emeli Sandé and Gregory Porter performed, as did violinist Nicola Benedetti and the gospel Kingdom Choir.
Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, who were unable to attend in person, sent a video message of solidarity.
“We still wanted to offer all of our love and support to everyone performing and most importantly to express the support and solidarity with the millions of people who have been forced to flee their homes and leave everything behind,” Eilish added.
The presentation, which aired on the ITV and STV networks and allowed viewers to donate, also included clips depicting aid efforts in Ukraine since Russia’s invasion began more than a month ago. Moscow refers to its efforts as a “special operation.”
The concert attracted a total of £12.2 million ($16 million). Disasters Emergency Committee will receive the money realized from the concert.
