Gunplay’s Wife Exposes Disturbing Video of Him Destroying Their TV Amid Domestic Violence Allegations
The unfolding drama in the wake of rapper Gunplay’s domestic violence allegations has taken another shocking turn.
Gunplay’s Wife Posts Video of Him Destroying Their TV
In response to Gunplay’s recent attempt to explain the disturbing incident where he pointed a rifle at her and their child, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, Gunplay’s wife, has taken to social media to share a series of revealing video clips. These clips have since been widely circulated, including a repost by DJ Akademiks. In the footage, we witness a heated argument between the couple escalating to Gunplay taking a frying pan to hit their wall-mounted TV, causing significant damage.
This release of video evidence comes on the heels of previously unseen footage that seemed to support Gunplay’s side of the story. Although the body-cam footage does not directly address the allegations involving the gun, it does cast Taylor-Morales in a more aggressive light. In response to questions about his apparent smell of alcohol, Gunplay alleges that Taylor-Morales struck him with a full bottle of liquor, resulting in the liquid spilling on him. The newly surfaced footage shared by Taylor-Morales appears to challenge the narrative that Gunplay is the victim in this contentious dispute.
Despite the emergence of these conflicting video clips, many questions linger regarding the incident involving Gunplay and who bears responsibility. One of the charges against the rapper pertains to accusations of choking his own child. Taylor-Morales expressed her perspective on social media following Gunplay’s arrest, stating, “He’s in jail contacting my friends and family, trying to persuade me to drop the charges. Now he’s in jail, having HIS friends speak about me online. This situation is unacceptable. I hope the justice system does not fail another black woman and child. Regardless of how you spin it, pulling a gun on your family and choking a child is UNACCEPTABLE.”
Clearly, this is an extremely sensitive situation with serious allegations being made by both parties involved. The police are actively investigating these claims. At the moment, Gunplay, who was arrested on August 20, is currently out on a $17,000 bond. Miami Dade PD’s inmate search database currently indicates that he is “not being held in a County facility.” Nevertheless, this story is still evolving, and we will provide updates on the case as they become available.
