Man Who Gave Mac Miller Fatal Dose Of Drugs Pleads Guilty
The man who supplied the pills that killed rapper Mac Miller in 2018 has pleaded guilty. Stephen Walter has admitted that the contaminated drugs came from him, according to ‘TMZ’. Stephen risks a 20-year prison sentence as a result.
The American rapper, who has been struggling with addictions for years, is said to have ordered the drug oxycodone from a dealer. He bought the pills from Stephen, but was instead given drugs containing the strong painkiller fentanyl without his knowledge. This substance ultimately proved fatal to Mac (26) in combination with cocaine and alcohol. As far as is known, a case is also pending against the dealer and the courier of the pills.
Fentanyl is a leading cause of fatal overdoses in the United States. Earlier this year, The Flash actor Logan Williams died of an overdose of drugs that contained that substance. Prince was also a victim of fentanyl in 2016.
