Megan Thee Stallion And 1501 Certified Entertainment Beef Updates
Megan Thee Stallion and 1501 Certified Entertainment have been having issues for some time now. It seems their beef is getting more intense again as the label files the rapper to lawsuit.
The CEO Carl Crawford of the imprint stated that Megan Thee Stallion‘s last album does not worth being called an album and that they expected more from the rapper. But she was surprised at their claims which she finds absurd. This made her go to Twitter to express her grievances with her label referring to them as “greedy men”.
“Let me goooo,” she wrote. “First the man over my label said I don’t make him any money … now he counters suing trying to keep me on his label because he wants to make more money lol if I ain’t making you no money why not just drop me?
“My lawyers asked him for an expense report(money 1501 supposedly has spent on ME)… why this grown-ass man put his jewelry and chains on there… lord free me from this joke ass label.”
Carl Crawford responded immediately to Megan Thee Stallion’s tweets through his Instagram handle using a screenshot of the TMZ exclusive about the court case.
He stated in the caption, “Stop playing the victim @theestallion u haven’t paid for 1 show since 2019 hiding behind #Rocnation .. U can keep that bullshit ass mix tape and send over that straight drop whenever u ready.”
Lol but the truth is wide open: drop her if she isn’t making you the money.
I know you won’t 🤣
One thing labels fail to consider is, it isn’t easy leaving your life in the studio, trying to remain relevant to your label.
