Nicki Minaj Confronts Swatter After Fake Police Calls; Warrant Issued
Nicki Minaj is taking a strong stance against the individual responsible for orchestrating fake police calls that led to her home being swarmed by law enforcement.
In a recent Twitter update, Minaj connected with her fan base to share important news about the person behind these unsettling swatting attacks. She directly addressed the culprit in her initial tweet: “To the woman who made those swatting calls to my home… #WasItWorthItDumbo?”
About an hour later, Minaj took to Twitter again, unveiling the identity of the prankster through a follow-up message.
Unmasking the prankster, Minaj revealed, “Stephanie Bell. A warrant is in the system. Great detective work. So grateful. DA filed one count for the swatting call and one for the false report to DCFS. To God be the glory.”
Minaj’s case involves distressing incidents, one occurring in June where a caller falsely claimed harm to Minaj’s two-year-old son. Subsequently, another call came through in July, alleging that the rapper had fallen victim to a shooting. On both occasions, police promptly responded to Minaj’s residence, only to ascertain that the distress calls were nothing more than a malicious hoax.
Insights regarding Bell’s motives or why Minaj was targeted remain scant. Nevertheless, underlying tensions have been noticeable, aiming to displace the music sensation and her family from their neighborhood.
