Offset Was Sued For “Auto-Negligence” After A Serious Crash Involving A Woman
Offset doesn’t have much success with automobiles. Bentley filed a nearly $1 million lawsuit against Offset earlier this year regarding a stolen car. Although the case was dropped, Georgia might take it up again. His misfortune also applies to other forms of transportation. He and Cardi B recently witnessed a yacht sink in front of their very eyes.
Offset is currently involved in another car-related case. Offset has been sued by an insurance company for “auto-negligence” in an almost two-year-old vehicle collision. Silvestre Cruz Gutierrez, who was in her own car and suffered serious injuries in the collision, was struck by the Migos member while she was driving in Encino, California.
Gutierrez is insured by Mercury Insurance Company, who claim that Offset was at fault for the collision. Additionally, they asserted that the rapper was driving an uninsured 2018 Dodge Charger. Offset ran over Gutierrez and Maria Salina Lopez as they were traveling in a 2019 Honda Civic.
Mercury Insurance claims in their complaint that the insurance plan “detailed above-included collision coverage, insuring the Honda for losses caused.” The Honda was “damaged, ruined, depreciated, declined in value, and necessitated repairs and towing charges in the sum of $10,605.73,” according to their claim, and “the owners of the Honda were deprived of the use of their said car to their detriment in the sum of $1,090.27.”
