Pop Smoke’s Tragic Murder Possibly Linked to Recent L.A. Rapper Found In Barrel
Pop Smoke’s untimely demise remains a somber chapter in Hip Hop history. However, fresh revelations have come to light, hinting at a potential connection between his murder and the tragic killing of another L.A. rapper.
As reported by TMZ, the initial suspect in the 2020 Canarsie, Brooklyn rapper’s murder, Jaquan Murphy, has now been exonerated from the crime. Astonishingly, Murphy is the sibling of Javonnta Murphy, also known as Sirtanky.
The lifeless body of Sirtanky was uncovered on July 31, unclothed and concealed within a metal barrel. Law enforcement, upon making this grim discovery, grappled with unraveling the motives behind this act.
The narrative takes an intriguing turn with the revelation of Sirtanky’s fraternal link to Jaquan Murphy. Presently awaiting trial in Los Angeles for an unrelated murder, Jaquan Murphy casts a shadow of suspicion over his brother’s murder, prompting LAPD’s contemplation of a potential “revenge killing” with ties to Pop Smoke.
Nonetheless, it is crucial to emphasize that this theory remains speculative, and the ongoing investigation is still in its nascent stages.
As at when found, Sirtanky’s body exhibited no signs of advanced decomposition, indicating a relatively recent demise. While police have yet to release further details regarding Murphy’s state, the discovery of his unclothed form sealed within the barrel solidifies the police’s conviction of “foul play” as the cause of death.
Detectives, painstakingly piecing together the puzzle, trace the origin of the barrel to a printing company. The investigation delves into whether a tangible connection exists between the printing company and the circumstances surrounding Sirtanky’s tragic fate.
