Quavo Loses Role In Jack Harlow’s ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ Reboot To ‘Power’ Actor
Quavo Loses Role In Jack Harlow’s ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ Reboot To ‘Power’ Actor.
Quavo’s Hollywood ambitions came to an end when 20th Century Studios decided not to cast him in the White Men Can’t Jump revival as Sidney Deane opposite Jack Harlow. According to Deadline, Sinqua Walls, a former Power actor, has been cast in the Wesley Snipes role from the 1992 film.
Huncho made his pitch to TMZ last month in the hopes of landing a role in the film, but his confident comments fell short.
“I think they need to call me, so me and Jack Harlow can do it,” Quavo told the paparazzi. “I need to play Wesley Snipes’ role. Huncho and Harlow, let’s do it! Jack Harlow’s amazing. He can do everything.”
Harlow and Huncho’s Chemistry
Outside of the studio, Harlow and Huncho demonstrated their powerful chemistry on the basketball court last year, when they teamed up to defeat Lil Baby and 2 Chainz in a 2-on-2 game at Bleacher Report’s Open Run by a score of 21-7.
Quavo’s acting career isn’t all doom and gloom, as he is due to play as Coyote alongside Robert De Niro in Wash Me In the River later this year.
Jack Harlow, who nailed his first-ever audition for the revival of White Men Can’t Jump, is preparing to release his Come Home the Kids Miss You album on May 6th. His most recent hit, “First Class,” is expected to compete for the number one slot on the Billboard Hot 100 next week.
