A Florida man was accused of fatally shooting his neighbor over an argument about a cat that wandered into his yard.

A dispute about a cat that had strayed into his neighbor’s yard led to the shooting of an 58-year-old man in Florida.

On Wednesday morning, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, 58-year-old Clifford Bliss Jr. became enraged after a cat strayed onto his property.

According to IBTimes, Bliss visited his neighbor, James Arland Taylor,41, and threatened to shoot the cat for trespassing. Taylor asked Bliss not to fire the cat, but he was shot in the chest just a few moments later.

According to the outlet, Bloom added: “Mr. Bliss was furious that his neighbor’s cat had wandered into his yard that he went and got a rifle, left his home, crossed the street to the victim’s house, and said that he was upset because their cat had come into his yard. The victim, Mr. Taylor, tells him not to shoot his cat”.

“Mr. Bliss decides, ‘You know what? I’m just going to shoot him.’ So he shot Mr. Taylor and killed him on the spot,” said Sgt. Bloom of Marion County.

Bliss’ neighbors said he had a temper and that he would often quarrel with them about their pets.

According to Marion County authorities, he was shot once in the chest and arrested Bliss without resistance. He was charged with second-degree murder and held without bail at the Marion County Jail.

Spotify announced Friday evening, before the day was over, that the record for most streamed new release in one day had been broken. The last time a single scored so well on the first day was on May 21, when Butter by BTS was listened to more than 11 million times.

The overall record has been on Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You since December 24 . The Christmas classic was then listened to 17.2 million times.

Camaryn called the police after the incident, who found visible injuries and recorded a report of domestic violence. Tyga has not been arrested but has promised to report to the station on Tuesday for a statement.
