G Herbo Singing to 'Since U Been Gone' by Kelly Clarkson

G Herbo Singing to ‘Since U Been Gone’ by Kelly Clarkson

G Herbo had a great time in Las Vegas where he was singing Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Since U Been Gone.’

Don’t forget how the rapper recently celebrated his achievements in the rap music industry and also talked about his pains. He explained where he saw his first casualty of gun violence at the age of eight years old.

After releasing five studio albums, G Herbo reminiscence on how it feels to be famous expressing how the past trauma he went through affected him. Herbo is always careful in choosing the artists he feature in his songs. For the Survivor’s Remorse album, he featured Young Thug, Gunna, Future, Jeremiah, etc.

Herbo flocks with rappers like Benny the Butcher, especially on “Real Rap,” Conway the Machine on “Machines.” Also, the rapper works with producer DJ L for “History,” which is an updated version of “Kill Shit,” a collab project between Herbo and Lil Baby.

At times as he sings, he tends to go flat, for example, he went flat on Side B’s closer, “Letter to Juice.” Although, Survivor’s Remorse gave the rapper the right visibility, he didn’t conceal the unpalatable scars he has.

Benzino Applauds Lil Baby in a Series Of Tweets, Calls Him Tupac Of This Generation

Benzino Applauds Lil Baby in a Series Of Tweets, Calls Him Tupac Of This Generation

Benzino Applauds Lil Baby in a Series Of Tweets, Calls Him Tupac Of This Generation

Benzino calls Lil Baby “Most influential & important, Tupac of this generation.”

Lil Baby is one of the best hip-hop artists working today, and according to Benzino, he’s comparable to the great 2Pac for this generation.

“I have been around Hip Hop since day one, out of this generations rappers @lilbaby4PF is the most influential & important this time,” he wrote. “He like PAC’s influence and can help turn around young black men to elevate their lives from the streets to a better life. He’s special trust me I know.”

“He’s with the sheet and talks street talk but also raps about positive elevation & change, (like Pac), he never beefs online, he helps his people and raps about it and you can see his maturing, not just on the mic but in real life, he’s generations Pac.”

This generation needs more Lil Baby’s.”

Comparing the ‘My Turn’ rapper to Shakur, the latter’s supremacy on the chart items in terms of commercial success is nothing to be overlooked. He has provided statistics to support his knowledge, such as No. 1 albums and Diamond singles. Consider how drastically different the music industry was from what it is now. It might not be to the same extent as Pac, but it is still noteworthy.

Lil Baby recently released “it’s only me,” his third solo studio album, which earned him another #1 debut on the Billboard 200 after moving 216,000 album-equivalent units in it’s first week.

Lil Baby Sacrifices Grit For Prestige Raps In "IT'S Only Me"

Lil Baby Sacrifices Grit For Prestige Raps In “IT’S Only Me”

Lil Baby Sacrifices Grit For Prestige Raps In “IT’S Only Me”

Lil Baby has probably carved out his own niche among all the musicians that have been regarded as Young Thug’s protégés. Although Baby’s flow has echoes of Thugger’s warbling drawl, Baby is far more grounded and straightforward than Thugger, who has spent years operating on his own wavelength as a rebellious experimenter. This has helped Baby become one of the best storytellers in the rap game.

Early skeptics labeled Lil Baby and his contemporaries as “mumble rap,” but Baby uses his voice as an expressive tool that begs for attentive attention: “You gotta really pay attention, I’m not mumbling,” as he says on “Heyy.” Baby expressed a heightened sense of perspective in songs like 2020’s “The Bigger Picture,” expressing his uneasy awareness of the precarity of his existence as a Black man in a racist police state and his awareness of the potential influence of his growing platform to bring about change.

Lil Baby continues to develop as a lyricist and a stylist with the release of his most recent solo album, It’s Only Me, a title that is appropriate for an artist whose music frequently feels so aching and lonely. Lil Baby has struggled to hold on to some of the authentic perspectives that made him so endearing; many of the issues Baby now discusses in songs like “From Now On” amount to the unrelatable struggles of a very rich man.

Baby may now create prestige rap albums, but his work is still superior to the majority of mainstream rap albums because he hasn’t fully lost his identity.
