Nas and 21 Savage Join Forces On “One Mic, One Gun”

It appears Nas and 21 Savage have put their previous beef behind them.

As we previously mentioned, 21 faced criticism earlier this month as a result of his remarks on Nas. The Rapper asserted that he is out of date. 21 said on clubhouse, “I don’t feel like he’s significant, I just think he has a following. He still produces quality songs.”

Nas discreetly addressed the jab by highlighting his highly regarded album Kings Disease 111. Nas promoted his new song “One Mic, One Gun” alongside Savage on Instagram on Tuesday, November 29. He uploaded the cover art for the single along with a lengthy caption. Nas wrote, “Nas and @21savage TONIGHT,” Nas wrote. “Only way we moving is with love and unity. The foundational principles of hip hop. Excited to collaborate with my younger brother and I hope more artist use turbulent moments and turn them into a time to make new art. That’s what it’s about.”

Lil Nas X Makes A Diss Song Following 2022 Bet Awards Snub

Lil Nas X is ramping up his campaign against BET. The Montero star was justifiably enraged when he was denied nominations for the 2022 BET Awards in June, and now he’s pouring his rage into an explosive diss tune.

The 23-year-old shared a sneak peek of the new tune, which is apparently titled “Fuck BET,” on Instagram.

When Lil Nas X saw he and his platinum album Montero were not on the list of nominees last week, he had a lot to say. “Thank you bet awards,” In a now-deleted tweet, Nas X wrote. “An outstanding zero nominations again. black excellence!”

He added, “idk maybe 3 of the biggest songs of last year & a critically acclaimed album. feel like that should’ve helped me a bit … not even that, doesn’t even have to be me nominated. I just feel like black gay ppl have to fight to be seen in this world and even when we make it to the top mfs try to pretend we are invisible.”

Queen Latifah shared Lil Nas X’s sentiments, who told TMZ that she believes the young rapper has been overlooked.

“Lil Nas X is amazing,” she replied. “He should’ve been nominated. I don’t know if that’s the case. I don’t know what’s behind all that, but inclusion is always the key. That’s what we should be striving for. There’s enough room in this world for everybody.”

Lil Nas X Criticizes The BET Awards For Having “Outstanding Zero Nominations”

Lil Nas X has risen to become one of this generation’s top stars since 2019. It is unavoidable. After consistently topping the charts, he defied assumptions that he’d be a one-hit wonder. While groups such as the Grammys applauded his efforts, he does not appear to be receiving the same support from BET.

The BET Awards announced their nominations yesterday, and Lil Nas was absent from all of them. Given how unstoppable he’s been over the last 12 months, it’s surprising that he doesn’t feel slighted that his efforts aren’t recognized at the BET Awards.

“Thank you BET Awards. An outstanding zero nominations again. Black excellence,” With praying hands and a white heart, he tweeted. “I try to be humble so bad but it’s really fuck you to a lot of you n***as.”

He , “I will be selling fish plates outside of the BET Awards this year.”

Many people appear to believe Lil Nas X was slighted this year, but some appear to be even more surprised that Jack Harlow was honored before him. Drake, Future, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and Lil Baby are among those nominated for Best Male Artist.

Jack Harlow Speaks On Dua Lipa’s Reaction To His Song About Her

Jack Harlow’s Come Home The Kids Miss You, has 15 great songs on it. But only the sixth title, “Dua Lipa,” will stick with you. Harlow teased the single on Instagram only days before releasing his sophomore album. And the 24-year-song old’s has racked up nearly 3.5 million Spotify streams since its release on Friday.

While on the road promoting his new album, the Kentucky native stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss his friendship with Drake, his collaboration with Lil Nas X, and his family’s support. According to Uproxx, the hosts couldn’t help but move the subject to Harlow’s mention of the English vocalist at one point.

“I wanted to get her blessing,” he revealed, confirming that he received approval from Lipa before sharing the song. “I didn’t want her to be blindsided by that or feel creeped out or anything.”

When asked about her reaction, Harlow admitted that she remarked, “I suppose it’s OK,” although he thinks “when the song comes out, she’ll grow to appreciate it even more.” Instead of confirming that he has a crush on the starlet, he simply said, “I admire her.”

Jack Harlow Hails Lil Nas X As A "Hero" For Facing The Criticism: "Homophobia Still Exists"

Jack Harlow Hails Lil Nas X As A “Hero” For Facing The Criticism: “Homophobia Still Exists”

Jack Harlow and Lil Nas X collaborated on “Industry Baby,” and despite the harsh criticism they both received, the song rose to the top of the charts.

The rapper has become the topic of Hip Hop, thus it’s time for a Jack Harlow takeover. Harlow’s album Come Home The Kids Miss You was out yesterday (May 6) and has been a hot topic since its release. We’ve also received numerous fresh interviews from Harlow, in which he discussed lending his voice to Lil Nas X’s smash track “Industry Baby.”

Lil Nas X and Harlow collaborated on an LGBTQIA+-friendly music video, but the homophobic remarks bothered the Kentucky rapper.

“The totally inappropriate reaction to him lets you know that we still have some progress to be made,” Harlow told The Guardian. “And you hear it in passing; there’s still some homophobia going on. But he’s taking the hit that artists won’t have to take in the future. That’s what makes him a hero.”

Jack Harlow’s Interview With Zane Lowe

In a separate interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe, Harlow discussed “Industry Baby” as a part of his heritage that he treasures.

“I felt like as I was recording the verse, I felt like in 10 years, I’m going to be very proud of this,” he stated. “I feel like my grandkids are going to see this, and once they understand the context of everything, they’re going to be like, ‘Wow. My grandpa did the right thing. It’s tough.’ Yeah, I definitely was like, ‘This is fun. This is progression.’ That’s one thing, the success I’m having, and people are coming around, and the music is working, but one thing I’m really looking forward to next is, I know I have to make contributions… and do new sh*t, push the sh*t forward.”

“I’ve done some things, I’m having some success, but I haven’t fully added my branch to the tree of hip hop yet. I haven’t brought my branch where people can point and Jack Harlow and say, ‘Here’s what he added that no one was giving us before.”‘ I fully plan on doing that. And I’m not saying that’s what that was, but that decision to me felt like one of those steps of like, not everybody would take that step, but it made total sense to me. The song was good, he’s amazing. I loved making the decision. It felt really good.”
