Lil Wayne is one of the best rappers of all time, thus whenever he appears in public, followers will be stunned and want to get a snapshot of the Hip Hop legend. That happened recently, when the founder of Young Money went to see soul icon Anita Baker perform in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Weezy F Baby stood up and thanked the audience for the round of applause in a video published online, and Anita took a second out of her set to acknowledge him. One fan, in particular, couldn’t believe Lil Wayne was truly present in person.

The individual, who in dressed in a yellow t-shirt, stood up behind Wayne to express his admiration for the NOLA great. When the “A Milli” rapper turned around, the fan burst out laughing and took out his phone to record the happy moment.

During Anita Baker’s broadcast, Lil Wayne wasn’t the only one who got some love. Chance The Rapper received some praise after the singer thanked him for assisting her in obtaining her master recordings.

“You should say hello to a friend of mine by way of the music industry and by way of helping me, helping me to get a hold and ownership of my master recordings,” Baker said this while pointing to Chance, who rose up and thanked the audience for their yells and applause.

Machine Gun Kelly’s “Mainstream Sellout” Album To Debut Atop Billboard 200

Machine Gun Kelly is venturing into punk-rock and his new album, “Mainstream Sellout” is expected to debut atop Billboard charts. According to DJ Akademiks, “Mainstream Sellout”  should debut at the number of the Billboard 200 chart attracting 90-100k sales. 

DJ Akademiks revealed that 45-55k of the number is anticipated to come from pure album sales. The new project features artists such as Lil Wanye, Gunna, Young Thug, and other rappers. Kelly changed the title of the album in January from Born with Horns to Mainstream Sellout. 

While performing at Lollapalooza Brazil, he said he has five rules with which he listens to the album. He said: 

“I have five rules for listening to Mainstream Sellout,” MGK said. “One, you have to listen to it once by yourself. Two, you have to listen to it in a car. Three, you have to listen to it with friends. Once, you have to listen to it in the daytime. And then last, you have to listen to it at nighttime. You can combine two and three, and listen to it in a car with friends. That also counts.”

If you have been following, Kelly 2020 album debuted at #1 of Billboard 200. Much is expected from his new album.

Latto Releases Tracklist For Her New Album “777”

Latto releases the tracklist for her new album “777“.

The rapper has announced earlier that his new album, “777” will be released on the 25th of March. Also, she unveils the official cover art for the album.  Now, the rapper has released the tracklist of her new album, “777”. Latto’s released a single, “Wheelie” recently. She also included the single in the new album tracklist. Latto featured 21 Savage in “Wheelie.”

As unveiled by Latto, the new album has 13 tracks with many guest appearances from leading rappers such as Kodak Black, Lil Wanye, Childish Gambino, Lil Durk, and Nardo Wick. 

Latto Challenge With Male Rapper

According to a recent interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Latto said one of the male feature rapper gave her a hard time as she refused to respond to a DM. She said, “Being a female rapper, I’m clearing my album right now. It’s been difficult to deal with these men. They don’t know how to keep it business. I don’t care, baby. I’ma just keep it 100. It’s a feature on my album. It was difficult to clear and they tryna drop they nuts on me because I won’t respond to a DM.

“Just because I love the song so much and I had to turn it in yesterday. So, I didn’t really have a choice. So, I was like backed into a corner, like bullied. I wish more females would speak up on stuff. I know the label they say, ‘Don’t do that. Bad business, or whatever.’ Man, these folks be trying to drop nuts on female rappers. I’m not gon’ shut up about that. “We tolerate too much. We think, like, oh, that just comes with the game of being a female rapper. No, it shouldn’t, though. That’s lame.”
