Drake and NBA YoungBoy Top 2022 Streaming Race

Hip Hop has gained recognition as the most well-known sort of music in the United States starting around 2017. The trend doesn’t seem to be going down in any way in the nearest future. Chart Data on the 10th of March, announced the rundown of the main 10 most-streamed artists in the U.S. in 2022 up to this point, where seven of them are rappers.

Drake who happens to be the commercial juggernaut came first on the list with an amazing 1.4 billion streams across all platforms in the first 10 weeks of the year.

What makes the accomplishment much more noteworthy is the fact that he has not released any song this year.

A large portion of that figure probably came from his blockbuster 2021 collection Certified Lover Boy, which hit various Spotify and Apple Music streaming records upon its delivery in September.

The project has gone beyond two billion streams on Spotify alone. That means it’s attempting to attain double-platinum status.

NBA YoungBoy, a young HipHop superstar is the one following Drake closely with close to 1.3 billion streams. The 22-year-old Baton Rouge local has produced two pieces of music already in 2022. First, the mixtape Colors, with a collaboration with DaBaby, “Better Than You”

DaBaby And NBA YoungBoy Collab “Better Than You” Compares With Kanye West And Jay-Z’s Collab

DaBaby and NBA YoungBoy just released a collab album, “Better Than You.” In an interview, DaBaby compared his collab with NBA YoungBoy on the “Better Than You” project with Kanye West and Jay-Z collab on “Watch The Throne.”

The projection for “Better Than You” is to move at about 25-30k in the first week. NBA YoungBoy is serving a home arrest. Hence, DaBaby has been making moves and running errands to ensure “Better Than You” gets on sales. DaBaby visited SiriusXM and had an interview with DJ Whoo Kid.

While the interview progressed, DaBaby Praised the album and compared it with Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “Watch The Throne” collab. “You talking about music and a body of work? It ain’t been no collab project that’s f**king around with that since… you probably gotta go to, like, Watch The Throne, JAY-Z and Kanye type sh*t,” DaBaby said. “Facts. It’s dope as hell, like sonically, everything. Different styles of music that’s on that bi**h. It’s all the way there.”

Calboy Says DaBaby Contradicts His Claim On Beef Between NBA YoungBoy And King Von

Calboy says that he’s angry with DaBaby because he contradicted himself in respect to the beef between NBA YoungBoy and King Von.

Calboy, a Chicago rapper, has been trending because of his tweet regarding the collaboration of YoungBoy Never Broke Again and DaBaby in a new album, BETTER THAN YOU. The album has several affronts against the late King Von, Calboy’s cousin.

Calboy spoke against DaBaby’s insincerity in claiming of not being part of NBA YoungBoy and King Von’s beef while he is indirectly supporting NBA YoungBoy

In the new album, DaBaby insulted Von, OTF, and several other people that King Von loved. Not long after Colboy’s tweet went viral, he added a comment to his tweet saying, “Maybe Y’all misunderstood… a n***a ain’t bothered bout a collab… this n***a Juss said nobody gone make him pick sides… wen u dropped u picked a side… y’all dropped same day to battle for sales you kno wats going on. Here y’all come victimizing n***as that capitalize off drama.”

Furthermore, he threw jabs at his critics saying, “Y’all can suck my d*ck… for my homie ima speak my mind. N point out lame sh*t… I’m 107 147 s/o the jacks.”

As of now, DaBaby has not responded to Calboy’s tweet.

It’s no secret NBA Youngboy and Lil Durk don’t like each other.

His problem created a major split in the rap industry, and Durk’s close friend King Von was shot dead by an offshoot of Quando Rondo; Rondo is under contract with Youngboy.

Youngboy has just been released from prison and is currently under house arrest, but that does not prevent him from recording or taking shots at his opponents.

The Louisiana rapper recently released a new single called “Bring The Hook” which featured harsh lyrics for King Von and O-Block.

“Ni**a, this that Squid Game, O-Block pack get rolled up, Murder what they told us, Atlanta boy get fold up”

King Von was assassinated in Atlanta…

NBA YoungBoy Explains What He Made On YouTube

Earlier this week, all videos were removed from NBA YoungBoy’s YouTube channel.

YoungBoy is generally the best streaming artist on YouTube, so that was a weird move.

No explanation was given for the removal, so it was speculated that YouTube kicked NBA YoungBoy out due to its many legal issues, often involving violence.

It could be something else. YoungBoy told DJ Akademiks that he never made any money on YouTube because his company only gives him a small percentage of what he earns on the video site.

NBA YoungBoy Granted Bond To Be Released From Jail On House Arrest

Following a judge’s decision to grant him a “conditional bond,” NBA Youngboy is set to be released from jail.

According to DJ Akademiks, NBA YoungBoy will be placed on house arrest in Utah with military guards.

For months, NBA Youngboy has been incarcerated awaiting trial on gun charges.

The lawyer for the musician, according to Radar, proposed a plan earlier this week that would allow him to be released on bail so he could enjoy his new house in Utah.

NBA Youngboy’s lawyer claims that, despite his dangerousness, he has friends and family in the area who will keep him on track until his case goes to court. His childhood buddy Kyrie Oliver stated that she’d be keeping an eye on NBA Youngboy.

According to reports, the prosecutors handling NBA YoungBoy dismissed the prospect of releasing him, calling him a danger to society. They questioned the reason for YoungBoy’s buddy to come forward. In court, they revealed that YoungBoy had paid the woman $600,000 recently.

“It also demonstrates that every person Defendant called to testify has a financial stake in him being released. Bedrock Security stands to earn $21,0000/week; Atlantic Records has a more than $2 million investment and intends to build him a studio; and Oliver. Those substantial financial ties make it less likely that they would report Defendant’s violations or deter him from engaging in conduct,” the government argued.

The judge, who had previously denied YounBoy’s previous bail requests, was clearly influenced by the rapper’s most recent bond proposal. It’s uncertain how soon he’ll be released from jail.
