21 Savage And Metro Boomin Perform At The Virgil Abloh Exhibition At Louis Vuitton
21 Savage and Metro Booming performed at the Louis Vuitton exhibition held in commemoration of its late artistic director, Virgil Abloh. Which they also revealed his one-of-a-kind Nike Air Force 1 line. Guests at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse received a special performance by Metro Boomin and 21 Savage, a powerful ATL duo.
Metro Boomin ran through his Billboard Hot 100 songs while 21 performed mainstays from his discography like “Bank Account,” “A lot,” “Knife Talk,” and more at the “Air Force 1” Exhibition. From head to toe, both artists wore Louis Vuitton.
The public can view the exhibition till May 31. Those in the Brooklyn region can go to 73 West Street to check out the experience.
According to Vogue, nine Air Force 1 versions will eventually be available for purchase, with VIP members having first crack at the highly sought-after kicks, which retail for $2,750 for low-tops and $3,450 for mid-tops.
Sotheby’s auctioned off 200 pairs earlier this year, each selling for well over $100,000 for a total of $25 million. The money went to the “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund established by Virgil AblohTM. Virgil died of cancer at the age of 41 in November 2021.
