Kanye West Reportedly Unfollows Kid Cudi On Instagram

Kanye West and Kid Cudi are a famed hip-hop team who reunited in 2018 to release Kids See Ghosts, one of Kanye and Cudi’s best efforts to date. Unfortunately, they are now involved in a spat over Pete Davidson, so they will not be reuniting anytime soon. Pete, of course, is now dating Kim Kardashian, and Cudi is still friends with him. This is the ultimate betrayal in Kanye’s opinion, and it has resulted in a public spat.

Cudi, for example, took to Instagram a few months ago and said:  “Everyone knows I’ve been the best thing about ur albums since I met you. Ima pray for u brother. We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”

Cudi also stated that his most recent Kanye collab with Pusha T was months old and that he has no plans to work with Kanye again in the future. Although it’s simple to understand where Cudi is coming from, it was a shocking announcement that left many fans devastated.

Kanye West has now unfollowed Kid Cudi on Instagram, thereby ending their connection. DJ Akademiks provided this information, saying: “They saying Kanye came on Instagram just to unfollow Kid Cudi.”

Kanye West And Vory Collaborates On Pusha T Approved 'Daylight'

Kanye West And Vory Collaborates On Pusha T Approved ‘Daylight’

Kanye West teams up with Donda collaborator Vory on his new single, “Daylight.” Kanye contributes a verse and handles the hook on the track, which was out on Tuesday (May 31) and features Ojivolta, 88-Keys, Ratatat’s Evan Mast, and Ye himself on production.

Vory’s debut album, Lost Souls, is expected to be out on Friday, and “Daylight” is set to appear on it (June 3). The song was previously featured on Kanye West’s Donda album’s early tracklists and was performed at one of the album’s Las Vegas listening parties.

On Monday (May 30), Pusha T came to Instagram Stories to compliment “Daylight” and Vory’s upcoming album.

“@vory You know #Daylight might still be my favorite song in the world,” he said. “can’t wait til the world here’s your album. Congrats.”

Vory appeared on Kanye West’s Donda album in August 2021 on the songs “No Child Left Behind” and “God Breathed,” as well as having his own song “Lord Lift Me Up” on Donda 2. Vory discussed his friendship with Kanye West and the development of “No Child Left Behind” in an interview with XXL magazine in November.

Vory Discussed His Relationship With Ye

“We understand each other,” Vory stated. “Our vibe is crazy, though. Even his childhood friends are like, ‘You would think y’all have known each other for years.’ With ‘No Child Left Behind,’ [Kanye] had an idea that was basically, ‘Never abandon your child.’ That’s what he was trying to run with, and so that was a whole different song. And then I was like, ‘Nah bro, say something [that] means the same thing, but it’s a different saying. More of a quote.’”

Kanye West advised him to avoid gimmicks in favor of developing a great discography that speaks for itself, he said.

“I was having a talk with Kanye and he was like, ‘Bro, it’s more powerful that way. You’re gaining a real fan base that way,’” he explained.

Pusha T Claims That Rap's "Forefathers" Have Failed To "Stand The Test Of Time"

Pusha T Claims That Rap’s “Forefathers” Have Failed To “Stand The Test Of Time”

Pusha T’s album, It’s Almost Dry, has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking yet another triumph for the rapper. Throughout his career, the Virginia rapper has been a mainstay in Hip Hop, and Push’s  commitment to preserve not only longevity, but also respect. “When it’s innovative, when it’s honest, when it’s true, when it’s impactful, you’re gonna come under scrutiny,” he told NME in a recent interview. “I’m cool with that. I can deal with the scrutiny, but you got to admit the greatness.”

“A lot of our forefathers, the greats, they didn’t stand the test of time,” Push said. “As great as they were, I don’t know how much they are [still] appreciated. [I want] to show that rap doesn’t have to age out. When people look at me, they need to understand that I can do this forever.”

Pusha T Speaks On Comparison

When it comes to getting compared to his peers, Pusha T maintains that all one has to do is listen to his catalog to see that he is, in his opinion, far superior.

“I feel like people are definitely seeing what the differences are between me and them,” he said. “There’s maybe confusion and comparisons when I’m quiet, but when I’m not quiet, you actually see, ‘Oh – they’re not even close’. This [album] is exposing the difference, the creativity, the taste level.”

“I want people to look at this street rap narration that I’m painting and understand that this is all I want to make. Don’t ask me for anything else. I’m not entertaining you. I’ve been a realist. I’ve shown you everything. I’ve won the wars. I went through label dramas. I withstood everything. Now is the best time for me to be more creative and fully uplift the genre.”

Pusha T Shuts Down A Possible Collaboration With Drake & Kanye West

Pusha T Shuts Down A Possible Collaboration With Drake & Kanye West

Pusha T ruled out collaborating with Drake following their recent internet feud despite Kanye West’s reconciliation with the Toronto rapper.

Many people wondered how Pusha T felt about Ye and Drizzy reuniting and putting their differences aside for the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert. They also wondered if he would ever do the same. During a recent appearance on Shade45 as part of his It’s Almost Dry publicity tour, he addressed both questions.

“I thought that was good for them,” King Push said. I think they have this thing where, like, they sorta need to co-exist. Those two need to co-exist in their world and play within where they at.”

Pusha T and Drake’s relationship deteriorated over time, and the two traded diss recordings. While King Push stated that he has no animosity toward the Toronto rapper, he also stated that he has no intention of working with him.

When asked if he’d ever collaborate with Drake and Ye on a single, Pusha T said, “Nah! No, I’m cool on all of that. I know the song I wanna make, I know the people I wanna work with, and it ain’t that. He continued, “I want Ye to produce it, but other than that, I definitely don’t wanna do a record.”

Pusha T Speaks About Kid Cudi And Kanye West’s Feud

Pusha T’s latest album is out, and it features what appears to be Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s final collaboration. In the middle of the Donda 2 launch, the two had a public spat. Cudi retaliated by labelling Ye a “dinosaur” after Ye confirmed that Cudi would not be on the project.

Cudi said he cleared his verse on Pusha T’s “Rock N Roll,” which also features Ye, before the release of It’s Almost Dry. He made it clear, that he and Ye are no longer in good standing and will not be together in the future. “Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha,” he stated. “I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye. I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz that’s my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye -Scott.”

King Push T Speaks About Cudi And Kanye’s Collab

Pusha T expressed his thanks for his ties with both Cudi and Kanye in an interview with Vulture, but added that it’s a strange situation to watch happen. “It fucking sucks. You know Cudi is my fucking brother to the end. Just navigating these relationships, this brotherhood, the arguing … it gets public,” he said. It’s one thing for us to argue. We all argue — that’s not a problem. It gets out there, whether it’s Ye bickering first, or Cudi coming back with what he says. It’s super–fucked up.”

Push recalled the studio session for “Rock N Roll,” which included a sample of Beyoncé’s “1+1,” saying that “everyone was so happy” when they got there.

“The day we made this record, everybody was so fucking happy. Ye’s chopping the Beyoncé sample. Cudi happens to come in that day. We see each other, and I hadn’t seen him in a while. He’s like, ‘I gotta get on a record. Are you crazy?’ Cudi did, like, three or four different references. Beyoncé cleared the sample,” he continued. “There was so much great energy around the making of that record. And, you know, time passes, and issues come up.  He did what he did for his bro, and I love him for that.”

Pusha T Reveals Why He Didn't Work With Madlib On "It's Almost Dry"

Pusha T Reveals Why He Didn’t Work With Madlib On “It’s Almost Dry”

Pusha T has been busy since releasing his fourth studio album after four years on Friday. Chopping it up with interviewers all around the country as he recounts how It’s Almost Dry came to be.

It’s Almost Dry Radio, the rapper’s new live program on Amp, will debut alongside the release of his new album, according to Complex. Push spoke with longstanding manager Steven Victor to discuss his work in the first episode, moderated by Idea Generation’s Noah Callahan-Bever.

Pusha T Reveals How His Project Started

“The project got started from me playing ‘Hear Me Clearly’ for Pharrell…And he told me that, it was okay,” the father of one recalled. “He shrugged….He stated, ‘Man I just think that you need to be more of a character.’ I told myself, once it was etched in stone that [Pharrell and Kanye] would each produce half of the album, I was going to go through the process.”

“Whatever their process is, I’m going to go through it in full to make sure I have exhausted whatever they wanted to do. I wanted it to be produced because my biggest thing was making an album better than Daytona.”

Push declined to work with Madlib due to the pressure he felt to exceed his 2018 release, though he did get several tracks from the famed producer. “I got some beats and they were actually chops from him. I just think he’s really dope at finding ill sounds and ill chops, and things of that nature.”

“But at the same time, it was feeling like a beat tape situation. I felt like to step it up I had to be produced – to step it up from Daytona. When you think about [my last album], it’s just beats and hard raps. I wasn’t produced. The structure of Kanye West you know, taking these things out or whatever the case may be. Honestly, it was just that. It’s Almost Dry is an exercise, definitely on the Pharrell side, in being produced.”

It’s Almost Dry: Pusha T’s Album First Week Sales Forecasts

Pusha T released “It’s Almost Dry” two days ago and sales forecasts is already out. The album is  to sell 50,000 to 55,000 copies in its first seven days, according to HitsDailyDouble. Album sales will account for between 4,000 and 6,000 of that total.

The album, which is his first since 2020, has 12 tracks and features Jay-Z, Lil Uzi Vert, Kid Cudi, and other musicians.

When asked about the title’s inspiration, Pusha told Rolling Stone, “I’m always creating a masterpiece and in the creation of that in terms of a painting… And you have to wait on masterpieces. Also in drug culture, a lot of times you’ll have people waiting on the product and it’s not dry yet. You can come get it when it’s dry.”

Kanye West and Pharrell, two of the most well-known producers in the music industry, collaborated on the album. On Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, Pusha T contrasts the two musicians and explains how they influenced the process.

It’s Almost Dry: Push On Ye And Pharell’s Input

“Ye is just a Pusha T rap fanatic. He just wants me to rap all day long, and then he just wants to take them from me and edit them and do what he wants to do with it, right?” On the other hand, he claims Pharrell is more of a composer, saying, “He wants to make sure that every verse, every hook, every cadence, every flow, everything – he likes to call them ‘sticky moments’ – and just stays with you the whole time, throughout the whole song.” The rapper said.

It’s Almost Dry will embark on a 12-city tour starting in May.

Kanye West’s appearances on Pusha T’s “It’s Almost Dry” appear to reveal his co-parenting relationship with Kim Kardashian.

Finally, the time has come. After months of anticipation, Pusha T released his latest studio album, It’s Almost Dry, in its entirety this week. Pharrell and Kanye West both contributed production to the album, as well as singing. Ye contributes a couple verses to the album, including “Rock N Roll,” which features Kid Cudi, and “Dreamin Of The Past.”

Kanye West used his appearances on It’s Almost Dry to speak about his personal life, while Push was giving out top-tier coke raps. On both “Rock N Roll” and “Dreamin Of The Past,” Ye uses his brief cameos on the album to address his well-publicized family difficulties.

On “Dreamin Of The Past,” the rapper included religious verses that appear to align with his co-parenting arrangement with Kim Kardashian. “Born in the manger, the son of a stranger / When daddy’s not home, the family’s in danger,” Ye raps.

The rapper also mentions his difficulties with Kim in their attempt to co-parent their children as a divorced spouse in “Rock N Roll.” “Finally tired of comin’ and goin’, make up your mind / I ain’t come to pick up the kids to pick a fight,” he raps.

Pusha T’s New Album

“I’m always creating a masterpiece and in the creation of that in terms of a painting, you end up telling people while they waiting on it, ‘It’s almost dry,’ because they’re always asking, ‘When will it be done?’” he said.

Pusha T also revealed another interpretation for It’s Almost Dry, which is a drug reference, in keeping with the rapper’s brand. “And you have to wait on masterpieces.” He added, “Also in drug culture, a lot of times you’ll have people waiting on the product and it’s not dry yet. You can come get it when it’s dry.”

King Push With Ye And Pharrell

During an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Pusha T explained why having Ye and Pharrell produce the album was so vital.

“I had the best of both worlds in regards to production and in regards to two people that actually understand who I am and they like two different things from me that I feel are both really great,” Pusha T continued. “This body of work is untouchable because it doesn’t lean too heavy on either side…you get the whole spectrum. It’s my most well-rounded body of work.”
