Boosie Badazz Extends Olive Branch to Rod Wave – The $200k Deal to Dodge Legal Crossfire

Boosie Badazz has been setting the internet ablaze, taking aim at artists who’ve sampled his work without a nod. Kodak Black and YG were among those in the line of fire, but it’s Rod Wave who’s emerged as a prime target. Boosie’s threat of a lawsuit loomed large until a surprising twist on Instagram Live unfolded.

Rod, seeking resolution, reached out for Boosie’s direct number. The response? Boosie counteroffered a cool $200k and a 25% cut of future track earnings to bury the hatchet. With a sly grin, Boosie hinted that a lawsuit could be far more costly for Rod. The drama escalated due to Rod’s failure to notify his label about the sample, a revelation made in the midst of the livestream.

Yet, the saga’s conclusion remains uncertain. Boosie, not only embroiled in legal battles he initiates but also facing suits himself, recently discussed two ongoing cases. One involves a wrongful death claim from a 2017 music video shoot, while the other stems from a brawl at a 2021 State Farm Arena show.

Amidst the legal fray, Boosie underscored that settling without legal intervention is now improbable. Will Rod Wave bite the bullet on Boosie’s unconventional offer?
