While the report stated the passing as fact, many are now questioning its credibility. Strangely, neither the Los Angeles nor Vancouver police departments, the jurisdictions where the siblings resided, have initiated investigations into the alleged incident. Adding to the intrigue, popular news outlet TMZ promptly removed their article on the matter.

The plot thickens when we discover that law enforcement officials have confirmed no official records of Lil Tay, whose real name is Claire Hope, or her brother’s untimely demise. Curiously, a suspiciously similar paragraph to the Instagram post was generated using a chatbot, fueling suspicions of a potential hoax. Twitter user Aiden_Revival (@Aiden_𝟛.𝟘) shared this revelation, further casting doubt on the situation.

Complicating matters further is an intriguing note supposedly authored by Lil Tay’s brother, adding yet another layer to this unfolding mystery.

Cardi B Cleared of Charges in Vegas Mic Toss Incident

Cardi B Cleared of Charges in Vegas Mic Toss Case.

Cardi B received good news when she learned that the pending microphone tossing case against her in Las Vegas, NV, will not lead to battery charges.

Attorneys Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld, representing the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, issued a statement to TMZ, expressing their gratitude to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for diligently and promptly resolving the matter.

The incident occurred during her performance at an outdoor event in Drai’s Nightclub on July 29, where a fan threw a drink at her. In response, Cardi B angrily threw her microphone into the crowd, although it’s unclear whether she hit the offender.

While some speculated that the incident was sparked by Cardi’s request for fans to “splash” her “pussy” with water, additional footage showed her urging fans to throw water on her due to the scorching 105-degree Fahrenheit temperature.

A woman later reported the incident to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, claiming she was struck by an item thrown from the stage during the concert.

Despite the ordeal, the microphone has found a unique purpose. It has been put up for auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project and Friendship Circle Las Vegas. The starting bid of $500 quickly escalated to a staggering $99,900, showcasing the microphone’s newfound fame.

Cardi B’s legal team expressed relief at the resolution, and the rapper can now focus on her continued success in the music industry.

El DeBarge Charged With Weapon Possession and Drugs, Following an Arrest at a Gas Station

El DeBarge Charged With Weapon Possession and Drugs, Following an Arrest at a Gas Station

El DeBarge has been detained at a petrol station in Burbank, California, and charged with being under the influence of drugs and possessing a handgun.

The incident happened early on Sunday morning (January 8), according to a report from TMDr. Dre Threatens to Take Legal Action Against Majorie Taylor Greene For Tweeting “Still Dre”Z on Tuesday (January 10). Officers passing by noticed the singer’s car’s expired tags. They claimed to have seen an extendable metal baton in the car when they got closer.

Because the baton was an unlawful weapon, authorities searched the car and discovered “suspected narcotics” and pepper spray, according to reports. The singer allegedly did not possess a current driver’s license.

El DeBarge was detained and charged with possessing a controlled narcotic, a leaded cane or baton, and drug paraphernalia. Police suspect the drug is heroin, but this hasn’t been proved, the report states.

However, the “Lay With You” singer didn’t spend much time in jail before being freed after posting the $25,000 bond. In March, he will be back in court.

The troubled musician has been arrested before in recent years. He was charged with criminal vandalism in 2018 for reportedly smashing someone’s windshield with a wrench during an altercation.

DeBarge was detained in Los Angeles in 2012 for cocaine possession with the intent to sell after LAPD officers saw him engaging in what seemed to be a drug transaction with another guy close to the 101 Freeway. He avoided going to jail in this case by posting his $30,000 bond and getting released.

The musician, previously spent 13 months in prison after being detained in 2008 for possessing crack and drug paraphernalia. The charges were against him in violation of the conditions of his probation for a comparable drug possession offense in 2006.

Dr. Dre Threatens to Take Legal Action Against Majorie Taylor Greene For Tweeting "Still Dre"

Dr. Dre Threatens to Take Legal Action Against Majorie Taylor Greene For Tweeting “Still Dre”

Dr. Dre has officially requested that Marjorie Taylor Green, a Georgia Republican lawmaker, to stop utilizing his music in order to protect himself from further legal action.

According to TMZ, Dre’s lawyer Howard E. King sent the official cease and desist notice on Monday (January 9), giving her two business days to take down any unapproved uses of the song “Still D.R.E.” on her social media sites.

Marjorie Taylor Green’s controversial Twitter post on Monday included a video of her walking through Congress while Dr. Dre’s 1999 hit was playing in the background. In the letter, King chastised Green for breaking the rules outlined in the United States Constitution.

The multi-platinum singer informed TMZ that his music had been used without his permission after learning about the tweet, saying “I don’t license my music to politicians, especially someone as divisive and bigoted as this one.”

Dr. Dre’s objection was underlined in Howard E. King’s letter, and Marjorie Taylor Greene was charged with “wrongfully utilizing [“Still D.R.E.”] through the different social media sites to promote [her] divisive and bigoted political agenda.”

“One might expect that, as a member of Congress, you would have a passing familiarity with the laws of our country,” King wrote. “It’s possible, though, that laws governing intellectual property are insufficiently populist for you to really have spent much time on. We’re writing because we think an actual lawmaker should be making laws not breaking laws, especially those embodied in the constitution by the founding fathers.”

He continued: “The United States Copyright Act says a lot of things, but one of the things it says is that you can’t use someone else’s song for your political campaign promotions unless you get permission from the owner of the copyright in the song, a step you failed to take.”

Greene was given until Wednesday (January 11) at the close of business by Dr. Dre’s legal team to take down the post and respond in writing.

The team of Dr Dre had previously gotten in touch with Twitter before issuing the cease and desist, which caused the tweet to be taken down. In response, Marjorie Taylor Green sent the Aftermath executive a message via a statement to TMZ, which she then posted on Twitter with the hashtag “The next episode..”

“While I appreciate the creative chord progression,” the statement read, “I would never play your words of violence against women and police officers, and your glorification of the thug life and drugs.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene became well-known across the country in 2021 as a result of Democrats in the House of Representatives calling for her resignation due to several contentious comments she made on Facebook in 2018 and 2019.

A CNN investigation revealed multiple posts in which Greene called for the death penalty for a number of well-known Democrats, leading to the decision. The Georgia lawmaker, who was chosen to serve in the House in 2020, also published posts in support of the theory that the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, in 2018 was staged and made a number of antisemitic and anti-Catholic comments.

Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke to the House Republican Conference in February 2021 after her Democratic colleagues started pushing for her to be censured. She claimed that her since-deleted social media posts did not accurately represent who she is. According to CNN, her Twitter account was suspended no less than five times in the same year for breaking the platform’s rules against spreading false information.

Marjorie Taylor Green’s membership on all legislative committees has been eliminated, despite the fact that she is still Georgia’s congressional representative.
