Tommy Explains How He Met The Kia Boys

Tommy Explains How He Met The Kia Boys

Tommy G explained how he met The Kia Boys during a live interview. He said, “I did this video first time doing to a str*p club. So I was able to document that experience. I found a raunchy club in Milwaukee, that was, you know, probably half the patrons were parking in the parking lot.

“I talked to a gentleman, We hit it off well, and he DMed me. He’s like, Yo, I want to collaborate with you again. Let’s do something. And I sent him four ideas I was working on. One of them was The Kia Boys. He said, hold up, call you back on Face Time.”

Continuing explaining the detail, Tommy G said further, “2 minutes later and there’s a kid swerving infront of the block and I’m like let’s line up next Tuesday. Let’s f*ucking do this. It was just a known thing that these kids are wild. Like you see them driving in parks where kids are playing, you see them driving on the sidewalk of a high school where people are walking into class.

“You see them crashing out like they have a particular driving style where it’s like and there’s a music that accompanies the Milwaukee low and scene. And basically like, these kids just swerving as much as can in the car. It’s not like they take it and use it for as many days as they possibly can. They took it. They stole are purse. They went to go try and buy bl*unt wraps at three different gas stations. We were there, kind of triangulated them, and then they crashed it and then go on to the next one.”

Tommy G Respond to Being Called a Culture Vulture

Tommy G Respond to Being Called a Culture Vulture

Adams, during an interview asked Tommy G whether he’s a culture vulture. Tommy G gave a surprising response. Adams asked, “Doing some culture vulture, sh*t?” Tommy responded, “How do you think I get these connections? These guys are DMing me. I don’t have a network around the country of random people. A guy from Philadelphia will message me. A guy from Miami will message me. Then I’ll line it up.”

He continued, “And then as far as the culture vulture thing, I don’t think I’m pretending to be anything that I am not. I’m not walking in here acting like I’m some big dog, some big gangster. I know exactly who I am. I’m a kind of nerdy, weird white guy who likes to wrestle and do Jujitsu, read books and go walk in the woods. The whole cultural appropriation thing, I see both sides of it but the stance I kind of see is like you’re not German, you’re not going to eat bratwurst. If you’re not a Greek, do you get to run a marathon? Like where do we want to drop the line?”

He added, “And the reason why people come to America is because we have so many interesting flavors going together. I can walk down the street, I can hit Afghani, I can hit Jamaican. And that’s why I love this place.”
