Ahead of Her Performance at the Super Bowl, Rihanna Releases the Football-Themed Savage X Fenty Collection
In preparation for her forthcoming 2023 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show appearance, Rihanna has released a limited edition Savage X Fenty football-themed drop.
Including hoodies, sweatpants, varsity jerseys, tees, hats, beanies, boxers, and a bandana, the “Game Day” collection has 17 different items. The collection is based on a real football, and Rihanna posed for various pieces on the Savage X Fenty Instagram page.
On her Instagram Story, Rihanna also provided a sneak peek at another Fenty sweatshirt with a Super Bowl theme, complete with the graphic she used to promote her halftime performance the previous year. The NFL reposted Rihanna’s Instagram Story with a countdown to the big game as a caption on their Instagram page.
The caption stated, “5 weeks from now #AppleMusicHalftime.”
The Savage X Fenty website and retail locations are where customers wishing to purchase the drop may find things in sizes XXS to 4X. For Xtra VIP members, prices range from $24.95 to $89.95, and from $32.95 to $112.95 for non-VIP members.
Savage X Fenty will open a three-day retail pop-up store in Los Angeles, California, from January 27–29, giving customers another opportunity to experience the latest drop. Goal posts will double as clothing racks, there will be photo opportunities, branded gifts, and more in the turf-lined store, which will also include mannequin heads with football themes.
The State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona will host Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, February 12. By tweeting a cryptic message, Rihanna revealed that she will perform during the halftime show.

The ANTI singer will perform at the Super Bowl for the first time, and it will be her biggest performance since the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, when Rihanna gave a career-spanning medley of hits to celebrate collecting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
JAY-Z, the NFL’s live music entertainment strategist since 2019, referred to Rihanna as a “generational talent” in a press release announcing the news.
“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn,” he said of his Roc Nation signee. “A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment.”
