A$AP Rocky’s Arrest Has Rihanna Crying As She Cancels Baby Shower

A$AP Rocky got arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for his alleged role in a shooting in 2021, when he and Rihanna were flying back from Barbados. According to The Sun, a source close to the pair said Rihanna, who is quite pregnant, has been very emotional since the event. The couple planned to hold a baby shower on Wednesday night (April 20), but got postponed.

“She’s pregnant and these are very serious accusations,” they stated. “It’s a nightmare scenario for her. Rihanna was very, very upset and stressed by Rocky’s arrest. It’s not the best time for her to be on such an emotional rollercoaster.”

The LAPD On A$AP Rocky’s Arrest

The LAPD released a statement about the event, which said, “On November 6, 2021, around 10:15 p.m., an argument between two acquaintances occurred in the area of Selma Avenue and Argyle Avenue, in the Hollywood area. The argument escalated and resulted in the suspect firing a handgun at the victim. The victim sustained a minor injury from the incident and later sought his medical treatment. Following the shooting, the suspect and two additional males fled the area on foot.”

Rocky was out after posting $550,000 bail shortly after his arrest. Police allegedly used a battering ram to gather evidence from his house in Los Angeles, but it’s unclear what they found. Rocky is set to return to court on August 17th.
