Archie Eversole, The ‘We Ready’ Rapper, Has Been Reported Dead At The Age Of 37
Archie Eversole, best known for the 2002 hit “We Ready” with Bubba Sparxx, has died, according to reports. Eversole’s family confirmed his death on Wednesday (April 13), according to Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9FM, though no cause of death has been provided.
When Eversole released his debut album, Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style, he was only 17 years old. Because of “We Ready,” a popular song during sporting events, the album was eventually certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Steam’s 1969 smash “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye” was widely sampled in the song.

Archie Eversole was chosen by Atlanta United of Major League Soccer to write the single “United We Conquer” in 2018, further cementing his status in the sports world.
“The man who gave us ‘We Ready, the greatest Game Day anthem ever, has passed away at 37 years old. Rest In Peace Archie Eversole. Prayers up to his family and loved ones.” Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III wrote on Twitter.
“This song, “We Ready”, helped me push through my re-injured ACL back in high school in 02. I still use this song when I work out, or right before I get out the car at the gym. A classic banger that will never fail to get people pumped, myself included.” Eversole was acknowledged by another fan with assisting him in regaining his footing.
