Beyoncé made history at the just concluded 65th annual Grammys award. She became an artist with the most Grammys wins in history..
The artist was the most nominated and was nominated a total of 9 in different categories and went home with 4 Grammy’s.
She won Best dance/electronic album for “Renaissance“, Best R&B song for “Cuff It”, Best dance/electronic recording for “Break My Soul”, and Best traditional R&B performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa”. She has now broken the record of most Grammy Wins by any artist, with 32 wins, surpassing the late classical conductor Georg Solti, who had 31 awards.
Beyonce said, “I’m trying not to be too emotional. And I’m trying to just receive this night. I’d like to thank my parents, my father, my mother, for loving me and pushing me. I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching. I’d like to thank the queer community for your love, and for inventing this genre.”
