Last week, Justin Johnson was charged with first degree murder in the death of Young Dolph.

Johnson, who was close enough to Dolph to wear a PRE chain, pleaded not guilty and claimed he would surrender on Monday.

Instead, he used the limelight to release the song “Track Hawk” as rapper Straight Dropp.

Now, the US Marshals have captured this Indiana-based Memphis and brought him back to Tennessee.

Police say he has ties to organized crime.

Young Dolph’s suspected killer is still at large within days of promising to surrender. He was due to surrender on Monday January 10 but chose not to show up. Memphis Police and U.S. Marshals continue to search the country for the suspected killer.

According to Fox13 Memphis, an attorney representing Johnson said he was unaware of Johnson’s plans to turn himself in. He had previously pleaded guilty to three counts of grievous bodily harm after shooting three people in a bowling alley in early 2017. They roam free even after being charged with crimes of this caliber.

Documents show Johnson was re-arrested for possession of weapons and drugs just months after his release. Memphis Mayor Strickland is hoping Tennessee lawmakers pass a bill to strengthen the aggravated assault ruling.

People are always worried that someone with such a criminal record is lying in the street. We need the law and law enforcement agencies to be more conscientious in dealing with these types of crimes.

One of the images circulating on social media shows Young Dolph holding a stack of cash and having fun. One of the people behind him appeared to be his alleged killer, Justin Johnson.

Johnson is wanted for first degree murder. Authorities say he avoids being arrested and is considered armed and dangerous.
