The City Girls’ upcoming album may have fans waiting, but the Miami duo doesn’t lack for material until the release of the project. With the release of Caresha Please, Yung Miami entered the podcast industry with Diddy. The rapper from City Girls opened the season with a record-breaking episode.

In the second episode of the podcast series, Kevin Gates, who recently released the album Khaza, joins Miami as a special guest. There won’t be many talks centered upon music, if the trailer is any clue. Revolt released a teaser for the film, with Miami posing the following query: “Are you ready for the smoke?”

“I don’t want no smoke but I ain’t turnin’ nothin’ down,” he states this in the video before answering Miami’s question regarding Gates’ relationship with his cousin. The rapper claimed that he was related to the woman he was sleeping with after learning this from a family, yet he yelled, “I ain’t ’bout to stop!”

Miami also inquires about foreplay and whether Gates is recording his weird side after watching the minute-long tape. When Miami asks to see Gates’ tongue following his explicit description of eating booty, the Louisiana rapper replies, “When?”

When Boosie discovered his account had been deleted on Thursday, July 15, that is when it all began. He claims the platform banned him after a video of Boosie yelling at the police went viral earlier this week.

“Y’all take my IG for a video that a cop posted of me going off like wtf I ain’t post it,” he tweeted. “Adam n Mark y’all some bitches!! All that dam money n your wives look like Aliens n your kids look like retards. I wake up every morning hoping your jet crash.

“The Alien people have done it again #racistatitsfinest. GOD Bring Kobe Bryant back n put mark and Adam in that helicopter with their family. Adam look like u play on revenge of the Nerds lmao. Yo wife ugly af #divorce her face. Ugly ass kids GOD gave y’all buy them another face with all that money.”

On Tuesday, July 12, Boosie was arrested in Georgia for having a lot of window tint and hidden tags. Police claimed they could smell marijuana as De’Shun Lawrence was driving, which prompted them to check the car. Both males were placed in handcuffs and instructed to stand by the side of the car after discovering a bag of marijuana and a sizable bag of cash.

Following his surprise FBI arrest last year, YoungBoy was possibly facing a lengthy jail sentence for criminal gun possession charges. His decision was made only a few days after his legal team was successful in preventing the use of his “Gunsmoke” and “Life Support” lyrics as evidence before Central District of California Judge R. Gary Klausner, the presiding judge. The absence of fingerprints in this well-known case was again highlighted by his lawyers on Thursday, July 14.

After being found not guilty, the Colors singer only said, “I feel great,” according to Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillon.

The trial of the Baton Rouge native may have significant repercussions for other high-profile cases involving rappers like Young Thug and Gunna, especially in light of the fact that song lyrics were excluded from evidence during the trial, which is why this news represents a significant victory for YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

While YoungBoy and his supporters will likely rejoice over this significant legal victory, the controversial young musician still has a pending criminal charge related to a pistol in Louisiana. Time will tell if the Top rapper is able to escape all of his legal woes unscathed because he has also entered a not guilty plea in that case.

Nipsey Hussle’s death sparked a phenomenon that has never before been seen in history. The rapper and activist was shot and killed in front of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles, right in the middle of the community that he supported, setting up a public outcry. The trial against Eric Holder has finally come to a close after several years of delays, and he was convicted guilty of killing Nipsey. Now, everyone is waiting to learn Holder’s fate.

On the Angie Martinez IRL Podcast, Nipsey’s longterm companion Lauren London made an appearance and spoke at length about her life following his passing. She spoke about wanting to leave Los Angeles because it is “too heavy” for her right now, and she also discussed advice Diddy gave her in the wake of Nipsey’s passing.

The Staples Center (now Crypto.com Arena) was packed for Nipsey’s public memorial service, but London said she didn’t want to go. She described that time as “surreal” in her life.

“I didn’t even want to get dressed. I was gonna wear sweats,”  the actress said. However, Diddy made sure he motivated her to continue.g. “Somebody pulled me aside… Puff pulled me aside and was like, ‘Look, boo. You have shown everybody what it looks like to hold a man down and to love him. Now, show them what it looks like when it all crumbles. That’s your responsibility.'”

“He was like, ‘Show up with your head up,'” London added. And that’s exactly what she did.

Diddy and Yung Miami took a vacation in Paris this week after finally confirming the persistent relationship rumors last month. The Bad Boy leader and the City Girls rapper shared a tender photo of them holding hands in a slideshow that the rapper posted on Instagram on Thursday (July 14).

JT, La La Anthony, Tamar Braxton, and Emily B, who are Yung Miami’s girlfriends, entered the comments section to express their support.

The remaining pictures in the slideshow showed a dressed-up Yung Miami enjoying a single meal in Paris and standing in front of the famous Eiffel Tower, maybe with Diddy acting as the videographer.

Miami and Diddy denied dating rumors for several months before the 52-year-old mogul reluctantly admitted the two are truly dating in June on Caresha Please, the City Girls star’s REVOLT TV program.

“We go have dates, we’re friends, we go to exotic locations, we have great times,” he stated. “We got to strip clubs, church. I’m gonna take you to church.” Miami asked him to describe their relationship as well, and he responded, “We date. We’re dating.”

Drake’s private jet was observed landing in Sweden earlier this week, but many fans were unsure of his purpose for visiting the Nordic nation. According to claims that circulated on social media last night, Drizzy and his group were detained in Sweden on marijuana-related charges. Thankfully, that isn’t the case.

The rapper was not detained by the authorities, according to journalist Philip Lewis. Drake’s representative released a formal denial when Lewis had confirmation from Swedish police that the rapper was not under their care. The team released a statement saying, “Drake is at his hotel and has not been arrested.”

Drizzy was the target of numerous Internet memes before his team responded to the allegations, sparking the brief #FreeDrake movement. Fans were really worried that, if the arrest allegations were accurate, Drake may wind up receiving an unfair punishment like A$AP Rocky was arrested in Sweden in 2019.

Fortunately, Drake has cleaned up so he can go about controlling the summer. T-Pain is facing backlash as a result of a Twitch chat with DJ Akademiks. T-Pain recently reconnected with Akademiks for a casual discussion about all things pop culture. During the discussion, T-Pain shared a viewpoint about Tupac Shakur that took listeners by surprise. Pain claims that Pac wouldn’t have garnered as much respect if he had succeeded in the age of social media or in the present Hip Hop culture.

“Pac would’ve gotten killed sooner and he would’ve gotten his ass ate the f*ck up lyrically,” T-Pain said. “Lyricism-wise, Pac would’ve got ridiculously murdered. Bro, Pac was a crazy lyricist in our time because ain’t nobody else have no platform… If the platforms would’ve been what they are now, Pac would’ve been ate the f*ck up […] I’m just saying what we look at as Pac’s greatest lyrics, right, is peanuts to what we hear today.”

T-Pain received immediate outrage after some of his remarks about Shakur went viral, and he even received criticism from his colleagues. Boosie Badazz was one of those who vehemently disagreed with Pain’s assessment of the late Rap icon, and he responded on Twitter.

“2Pac was a great lyricist U probably wouldn’t understand him if u never been through the struggles that this world brings !! @TPAIN I disagree [green check mark] the lyrics n songs these days last a couple years n there gone because they don’t have meaning .The lyrics don’t touch your heart.”

“I dont like when y’all sh*t on 2Pac.If he was living YALL wouldn’t step r talk about PAC n then death row n*ggasâ” he continued. “Why PAC music still hittin n yo favorite lyricist Not ?”

DaBaby has been staying out of problems, but earlier today, his former artist, KayyKilo, airing her complaints, he was thrust into scandal. The issue involving DaBaby and DaniLeigh last year allegedly occurred around the same time as KayyKilo’s mixtape, Cutthroat Love Letter. It appears that the commotion surrounding their lovers’ argument prevented KayyKilo from being released.

“People bash me when they think I’m in his crib when he gettin’ into it with DaniLiegh,” she stated. “I’m in my own house, you know what I’m sayin’? So, at twelve o’clock when that happened, my whole tape was overshadowed, everything was—I couldn’t even really promote it because everybody’s bashing me from that.”

DaBaby allegedly informed KayyKilo that he had too much going on with DaniLeigh to be able to promote her album.

“You knew that your artist was dropping at twelve that night,” KayyKilo said. “Even though we still tried to push, we still tried to promote, I got bashed for two weeks straight. People came to my page and left hate comments, told me how trash I was, all of that sh*t just because they felt like I was supporting what he did… What did y’all want me to do?”

She continued that she “even called him crying one day” due to the flood of hate she was encountering. People have been praising KayyKilo while DaBaby hasn’t replied to the allegation.

In a recent interview with Kevin Hart for the second season of the comedian’s show, Hart to Heart, Jay-Z talked about the direction of his music career and if he views himself as retired. The renowned rapper also discussed his initial attempt at retirement following the release of The Black Album.

Jay replied, “Nah, I tried that,” referring to his 2003 album, The Black Album, which was touted as Jay- Z’s last effort before retirement, in response to Hart’s direct inquiry about if he was retiring.

He talked about that period of his career.: “I just needed a break. But I really thought that I was really burnt out at that time. I was releasing an album every year. ’96, ’97, ’98, and in between that, soundtracks, other people’s albums, Roc-A-Fella, touring, back to back. I just looked up one day and I was like ‘I’m tired.’ I had never been on vacation until like, I want to say 2000, my whole life. I was just really burnt out at that moment.”

Jay Speaks On His Career’s Future

Regarding his career’s future, Jay acknowledged that he isn’t currently creating any music and doesn’t have any plans for a new album, but he claims he is uncomfortable with the notion of calling himself entirely retired.

“I don’t know what happens next,” he stated. “I’m not actively making music or making an album or have plans to make an album, but I never want to say that I’m retired. It’s a gift, so who am I to shut it off. And it may have a different form or interpretation. Maybe it’s not an album, maybe it is. I have no idea, but I’m just going to leave it open.”

QUAVO TALKS ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE MIGOS

In a recent interview with GQ, Quavo discussed the future of the Migos, telling the publication that each member must make a name for themselves as unique individuals in order for the group to remain as strong as possible. The remarks coincide with current speculations that the three rappers are splitting up.

“It was all about Migos, Migos, Migos. The three of us,” he stated regarding the first decade of the group’s career. “I feel like every group member has to establish themselves. Their own body of work. If not, you start losing members.”

Using a football metaphor, he continued by saying that he has spent his career coming up with plays for the team but that he needs to start concentrating on moves for himself.

“I’m a quarterback in life,” he said. “But now that I want it, I’m just going to show you.”

Quavo mentions that he’d want to work with Chloe x Halle and that he also wants to develop his career as a director.

“I would love to do a video for other people if y’all want my vision,” he explained to outlet.

After Offset unfollowed the other two members of the group on Instagram and the Migos cancelled their scheduled performance at the Governors Ball in New York City earlier this year, there were rumors that the group was splitting up.
