According to CBS News, the guy convicted of murdering Nipsey Hussle has been found guilty. After six hours of deliberation, a Los Angeles jury on Wednesday found Eric Holder guilty of first-degree murder. He has already been accused of trying to kill two people in the first degree.
On March 31, 2019, a gunman opened fire and killed Nipsey Hussle in front of the Marathon Clothing store at Slauson and Crenshaw. Prosecutors said during the trial that Holder planned to kill Nipsey Hussle before shooting and kicking the rapper ten times.
Nipsey Hussle and Holder got into a fight before the shooting, according to deputy district attorney John McKinney, over suspicions that Holder was a snitch. Nipsey didn’t have security with him, although McKinny did disclose that he was joined by two buddies.
Three weeks passed throughout the study. Holder was also found guilty of two charges of aggravated firearms assault and felon in possession of a handgun. Holder was not convicted by the jury of premeditated attempted murder.
Holder was attacked by other prisoners last month while he was waiting to be escorted to court. Due to the injuries Holder incurred during the attack, including a head wound that required staples, the trial was delayed by one day.
