Nipsey Hussle’s Murder Suspect Was Cut With A Razor According To Lawyer
According to his attorney, Aaron Jansen, Eric Holder, the man accused of killing renowned L.A. rapper Nipsey Hussle, was cut with a razor while he was being held in custody. As a result, he required staples in the back of his head. Holder’s inability to attend in court on Tuesday for “medical” reasons led to the incident’s confirmation.
“Mr. Holder, Jr. was assaulted by multiple individuals while he was in the holding cell at the jail while waiting to be brought to court yesterday morning,” Jansen said to CBS News. “The attack included a razor and the back of his head was cut.”
Holder was knocked out during the assault, and he later needed three staples in the back of his head and an MRI.
According to TMZ, Holder was waiting for the bus to take him to the courthouse for his murder trial when the attack occurred. On Wednesday, he appeared in court with sutures covering the back of his skull and a swollen left eye.
Prosecutors are asserting during the trial that Holder’s assault on Hussle was planned and intentional. As two other persons were hurt in the shooting, he is accused of one crime of murder, one count of having a firearm while a felon, and two counts of attempted murder. Holder might receive a life sentence if found guilty.
