On Billboard, Eminem achieves a historic milestone.

Next week will mark Eminem’s 50th birthday, and he has already achieved a significant milestone on Billboard. The greatest hits collection “Curtain Call ” by the Detroit rapper has spent a milestone 600 weeks at #35 this week on the Billboard 200 Chart. The album now ranks sixth overall and is the first hip-hop project in history to accomplish the feat.

The album, which debuted in 2005, features some of Eminem’s best songs, including “My Name Is,” “Stan,” “Lose Yourself,” “Without Me,” and “The Real Slim Shady.” Eminem received his sixth RIAA diamond for the project earlier this year after it sold 10 million copies in the US.

As his 2011 album “Take Care” reached the milestone, Drake joined Eminem and Kendrick Lamar as rappers with albums that have spent more than 500 weeks on the Billboard 200. With 519 weeks on the charts, Kendrick Lamar’s “Good Kid Maad City” is the second-most successful album in Billboard 200 history.

A record-breaking 350 chart weeks made the project the longest-charting hip-hop project ever as of 2017. The number of weeks that “Curtain Call: The Hits” has been on the chart has not changed. As the only Top 10 hip-hop album still in existence, it continues to be the longest-running hip-hop project on the Billboard 200.

  1. “The Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd — 962 weeks
  2.  “Legend” by Bob Marley and the Wailers—751 weeks
  3.  “Journey’s Greatest Hits” Journey — 733 weeks

Aries Spears Calls This Generation Of Hip Hop “Garbage” & “Dumpster Juice”

Aries Spears, who is obviously not a lover of modern music, is one person who has definitely been offended by the progression of hip hop.

Hip Hop has been criticized over the years by many generations. The current condition of rap culture has come under fire from “Old Heads” who think that this generation of musicians isn’t carrying the lyrical torch of their forefathers, frequently sparking discussions on social media regarding which era predominates.

Spears was questioned about this generation of Hip Hop in an interview.”Garbage!” said the comedian. “I mean, other than Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole…garbage.”

“If you took the emcees of my era, from the ’90s, I named some of ’em—Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, DMX, Jadakiss, Big Pun, Big L—you put them up against this young generation of rappers, you would literally have the ’92 Dream Team versus the Special Olympics. Spottemgottem, f*ckin’ Lil Nas X, f*ckin’…who else are the rest of these n*ggas? The Island Boys, Tekashi 6ix9ine, all them n*ggas look like Tim Burton Batman villains.”

“F*ck outta here! Them n*ggas is garbage! Dumpster juice, n*gga!”

In other news, Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears have both been named in a lawsuit. The two are accused of assaulting and grooming two siblings as they were being filmed for sexually explicit acts. Except for his legal team’s denial of the allegations, Haddish has replied to the claims while Spears has kept mute.

Megan Thee Stallion Makes Reference To The Tory Lanez Shooting On “Who Me”

On September 14th, the trial will formally commence, and the continuing legal dispute between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez will reach a new high point. Since we still don’t know exactly what happened on that summer night in 2020, this trial will be closely watched by many.

Megan Thee Stallion claims that Tory shot her following a fight, as many of you are already aware. Meg claims that Tory shot her in the foot, and she is convinced that this is true. On the other hand, Tory has repeatedly refuted accusations of impropriety and thinks Meg is just lying.

In light of this, Meg has chosen to address the incident in one of the songs from her most recent album, Traumazine, which was released yesterday night. Meg continues to make references to Tory’s claimed acts in the song “Who Me” with Pooh Shiesty as she raps, “I feel like Biggie, who shot you?/But everybody know who shot me, bitch.”

Naturally, Meg does not refer to Tory by name here, even though it is obvious that she is. She may be thinking about the incident often, even if it may only be a one-time occurrence in the pub.

Kanye West Criticizes Adidas For Yeezy Day

When Kanye West is angry, he has a reputation for speaking his thoughts. When anything doesn’t go his way, whether it be in music or design, Kanye makes sure his voice is heard. Kanye has never been afraid to criticize the companies he has worked for, including Nike, since he takes his business seriously when it comes to his footwear.

Adidas’ support has helped Kanye’s Yeezy brand succeed in the present, but it soon became clear that Kanye is not now content with the company. The company is reissuing a ton of famous Yeezy sneakers in honor of Yeezy Day today. According to a recent statement published by Sneaker News, Kanye disapproves of Yeezy Day and believes Adidas is operating behind his back.

Kanye continued by alleging that Adidas has been illegally stealing workers from his Yeezy brand and that the company stopped producing his shoes with Balenciaga. Kanye is obviously upset and is praying to God to take care of this matter.

According To Ye: “Adidas made up the Yeezy Day idea without my approval then went and brought back older styles without my approval picked colors and named them without my approval went and hired people that worked for me without my approval stole my colorways without my approval stole my styles and material approaches without my approval went and hired a gm of Yeezy without my approval took talent on the production side and sprinkled them throughout Adidas Originals without my approval.”

Boosie Badazz Thinks The Industry Is Moving Away From Gangsta Rappers

Rappers are making sure their lawyers are prepared for action as news has emerged that Atlanta prosecutors are planning more RICO cases. We have followed the latest developments in the explosive case involving YSL, which led to the detention and prosecution of over two dozen individuals. However, the D.A.’s office has confirmed that additional indictments are imminent. These suspects have included Young Thug and Gunna, who are still detained and continue to vehemently deny all charges brought against them.

Boosie recently gave one of many interviews to VladTV, during which he discussed the changes taking place in hip-hop and how the genre seemed to be moving away from gangsta rap culture and toward a less contentious sound.

“They basically doing all this to separate gangbanging from Rap,” Boosie stated. “They gon’ basically tell you, you can’t be a gangbanger and Rap… I’m not a gang banger, but I think it’s a bad thing for them. Gangbangers. Because what they’re preaching about, they’re not gonna let happen. The power that bring it, they’re not gonna let it stay. The impact you’re having on people, they’re not gonna it stay. You’re gonna have to be a fake rapper.”

“If they see you goin’ that way, they’re gonna stop you,” he added. “That’s why [they said], ‘We’re gonna get YSL.’ Who everybody lookin’ up to. And that’s the way they can do it with the gangbanging thing. That’s a tool they got right now, and it’s become successful, but I want all them boys free. I want all them boys at home. I just tell ’em, get close with God, man. Get close with God in the motherf*cka. You never know.”

Drake Pays Tribute To Sidhu Moose Wala, An Indian Rapper

Drake pays tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala, an Indian rapper and politician who was shot and killed over the weekend.

After being shot in the Mansa district, one of India’s most well-known rappers died last week. Sidhu Moose Wala, 28, was shot and died in his homeland of Punjab, according to rolling stone. On Sunday, videos and photographs of the murder scene leaked, showing him sitting in an SUV while people tried to resuscitate him. Moose Wala’s automobile was hit with at least 30 rounds of bullets, according to Punjab’s chief of police, VK Bhawra. Bhawra further alleged that Moose Wala’s death was the result of a gang feud.

Moose Wala was born in India but relocated to Brampton, Ontario, a suburb near Toronto, after graduating from university with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. On Sunday night, many Toronto artists, including Drake, paid tribute to Moose Wala. “RIP MOOSE,” wrote Toronto’s hometown hero with a photo of the murdered artist and his mother.

Sidhu Moose Wala became a leader of Congress in 2021, in addition to pursuing a promising musical career. In a Facebook post, Goldy Brar, a mobster stationed in Canada, claimed responsibility for Moose Wala’s death as retaliation for Vikramjit Singh Middukhera and Gurlal Brar. His death, however, was a political assassination by the Punjab Congress. Just one day before Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder, Punjab police removed the security of 424 politicians, including him.

Freddie Gibbs Makes His Film Debut In The Trailer For “Down With The King”

Freddie Gibbs’ much awaited feature film debut “Down With the King,” has finally released its first trailer. On Monday, the Gary, Indiana rapper gave fans a first peek at the album via Twitter.

Gibbs plays Money Merc, an artist who declares his retirement from the profession and begins spending time in a small-town farming community in the film.

Diego Ongaro directed Down With the King, which he co-wrote with Xabi Molia. In addition to Gibbs, the film will feature David Krumholtz, Bob Tarasuk, Sharon Washington, and others.

“I had to quit being Freddie Gibbs for six months that I had to be Mercury,” While discussing the film with Complex last year, Gibbs said. “There’s a lot of flaws that I have as a human being and as a man that I added to him to give it a little more sense of reality. Because I’ve been, not necessarily at the point where I wanted to retire, but wanting to quit with the music thing and just the way things are with the atmosphere, with the constant grind, trying to keep people entertained; that’s a difficult thing.

He continued, “You see a lot of entertainers commit suicide and turn to drugs. I’ve had my run-ins with drugs and mental health and things of that nature, so this was a good way for me to kind of put that on canvas without necessarily kind of talking about it to anybody. This movie was more therapeutic for me than anything, even with some of the music.”

On June 28, Down With the King will be available on demand and through streaming.
