Charlamagne Expresses Concern for Taxstone Sentence, Reveals Social Media Creating Situation for Rappers

Charlamagne Tha God featured on DJ Vlad interview and talked about Taxtone sentence, Banga getting killed, and Troy Ave shot twice. 

During the interview, Charlamagne Tha God said, “Same thing I thought. From the day I heard about this, you know, six year ago. It’s just tragic. You know, you got aboife loss, you know. Rest in peace ri the brother Banga.” 

During the interview, he also revealed why Angela Yee left the Breakfast Club show to start her own show. 

After her exit, she said in an interview that, “To be clear, I knew this was coming for a long time, for months and months, like probably over six months before we announced it, so while it might have been kind of shocking and out of nowhere for some people, this is something that I knew was going to happen so it’s just a relief to not have to be all secretive about it.” 

Commenting on the situation, Charlemagne said, “I think people want it to be something salacious, but it’s not. She left Breakfast Club because she got the opportunity to do her own nationally syndicated show. Way Up With Angela Yee is a nationally syndicated show it comes on 10 am to 2pm right after The Breakfast Club, and I think that would be hard for anybody to pass up … Angela Yee never got the opportunity to host her own show on terrestrial radio.”
