D. Hill, a hip-hop producer, has died at the age of 25!
D. Hill, better known as D. Hill, is the man behind Drake and Future’s hit song Life Is Good.
That song debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020, after its release.
Although no details were immediately available, a Facebook status from his uncle, Andre Lamar Hall, confirmed the terrible news. He wrote –
“Today my talented nephew Darius Hill passed away.”
“This truly feels like a bad dream, ‘Lord please wake me up’ God gave him the vision, and he completed his assignment. Please keep his mom, day & sister up in prayer.”
He added –
“We never know when our time is up, so live and be happy ‘if that’s possible anymore’ My nephew was my hero – Rest in power. DHILL.”
D. Hill was honored by several Hip Hop artists. He was a budding producer who had worked with several well-known performers, including – Drake, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, No Cap, Young Mal and others
In an interview, he explained how he used to sleep in his automobiles and on people’s sofas.
It changed his life when Life is Good was certified 9x platinum by the RIAA after his collaboration with Future and Drake.
To comment on its success, he posted a photo on Instagram.
He was grateful for the life he was living at the time, but in retaliation to his former financial difficulties.
“I was poor as hell, wondering how I was going to eat & pay my $250 roommate fee. Thank you Jesus.”
No cause of death has been announced. Darius Hill was 25 years old.
